The new features (customized apps and new remote) really take this to the next level. Highly recommend.

The Apple TV - 32gb has actually changed the way we watch programmed media. Incredibly fast and easy to install, it gives my family unlimited options for entertainment viewing whether is is Sit-Coms, Dramas, Documenteries, Series Programs or Movies. We have discovered so many excellent Network Series Programs that we were never aware of before. The Apple TV is a Hub for the ability to toggle between Netflix, Hulu, SciFi and a host of other networks without the hassle of login and password requirements. The Apple Remote has a voice activated search button so no more clicking on letters of the alphabet to spell out subject matter. Once set up, you are good to go. We have recently dropped our Broadband Provider as there simply is no need to pay for that service any longer.

I am very happy with how easy the set up has been. The connection is very good and the apps work great.

The new remote on the apple tv is much better than the original apple tv! Great new features added also.

I don't have cable and have been using apple tv to access all of my favorite movies/shows. This was a real upgrade coming from the older version. Having siri is great and the ability to download any application makes it that much more customizable. Want them in all my rooms. Only qualm, the track pad on the remote is so sensitive when i put it next to me it ends up rubbing against something causing a FF/rewind/pause, etc. Besides that great!

I have the original Apple TV, and this newer version is worth the upgrade. I seem to have more app options, including games. The remote is way easier to use, especially if it's dark in the room. I no longer have cable, and paying for certain station apps and Netflix is a lot cheaper. Never thought I could go with out cable, but it's not that bad! And if I have movies on usbs or DVDs, I put them in my laptop and watch through AirPlay.

Great for streaming shows either through Airplay or through the apps. New remote works well with Siri.

Unit is easy to set and the new remote with the voice option has made searching a breeze.

GREAT PICTURE QUALITY. I LOVE THAT I CAN PLAY MY ITUNES MUSIC THROUGH THE NEW APPLE TV. THE NEW REMOTE IS EASIER TO MANEUVER, ALTHOUGH I FEEL LIKE SIRI SHOULD BE ABLE TO DO MORE.

It works as good as old one but I really don't use all the other features included. It has more apps loaded and run just a little smoother than old one. Still highly recommended.

I bought the new Apple TV to replace my second generation Apple TV. The 1080p looks much better than the 720p second-generation Apple TV. The user interface is great and the App Store really makes this product worth it. Now I only need to download the app that I want, not having it fullscreen of apps that I won't use. The games on the new AppleTV are great as well and I plan I getting a steel series Nimbus controller for the new Apple TV is well. The Siri functionality is a little lacking, because it doesn't have full Siri functionality like my iPhone does. It only has AppleTV search functionality, which I haven't really needed to use yet.

Lots of apps and very good streaming. It beats the old version and the touch remote is much improved.

I mainly bought this product to stream baseball games using the MLB app. I have tried several other devices for streaming from my Smart TV's internal app, to a Smart Blu-Ray player, to a TiVo Mini, and all of them would lose the stream several times per game or the apps would crash. I'm a huge baseball fan so this was extremely annoying happening on a daily basis. Well, the Apple TV has fixed all that. It has been by far the most stable way for me to stream baseball games. Even if the stream becomes weak, it will drop the quality but still keep the stream going so it doesn't interrupt the game. Even if you don't watch sports, if you have iPhones/iPads it's great for projecting your other devices onto your TV with AirPlay. This is great for sharing photos with other people in the same room. Instead of passing your phone around, just display it on the TV and then you can show the photos to everyone at the same time. The only reason I take one star off is because of the price. It's way more expensive than all the other streaming devices but, as is usually the case with Apple products, you pay more but you do get a higher quality product.

I love AppleTV and have owned one since the very first AppleTV came out but what's up with the new remote being glass. We had the new Apple TV for less than 2 days when the remote was dropped and it shattered into pieces. The cost to replace is $80 more than half the cost of AppleTV so now we are using the little white remote from our first AppleTV. I am still mad that the remote broke so easily.

Took a while but I think Apple got this update right. With all the options for streaming, this is a great choice. Especially if you have apple products in the home. I really like the remote and the Siri integration. The search feature is great with a simple results interface that allows quick navigation,and easy to select and go back functions. The remote app on the iPhone is great for typing if needed but really isn't necessary.

Apple TV is a fairly solid piece of hardware for the modern home theater. However, it hasn't really reached its full potential yet due to the App Store not having enough compelling non-streaming apps. Furthermore, it's a bit tedious to set up all the accounts and sign-ins to get streaming working for everything. I'd suggest buying it on sale/with a gift card, but I believe it's currently a bit too expensive to enthusiastically recommend. 4/5, still an excellent entertainment system with lots of potential.

Easy and fun to use! I enjoy using this everyday. Tons of apps that are my favorites.
