Purchased as replacement
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Previously, I had been using a mix of Roku, Chromecast and Fire TV boxes and sticks. Since our house is primarily Apple, I thought I would try the Apple TV box, when the previously mentioned systems started showing their age. Pros - integrates with other Apple devices - easy setup - text input can be entered using phone or ipad - all the apps I have tried work well, even Directv Now! Cons - doesn't have Amazon Prime video app - doesn't have a Spectrum app (or at least one I could find) - sometimes is finicky about turning on via the remote (only one of the units I purchased / on one particular TV is this way, the other turns on every time) Deducting one star because no Amazon Prime video

Like ROKU better

Otherwise ROKU is easier to use and frankly works better on such things as Netflix, no interuptions, that seems to plague Apple TV.
