Apple TV4 is much easier to use than the previous version. Much more intuitive, and user friendly.

Whole family loves our AppleTV! We watch everything on it since we cut the cable a few months ago.

Very easy to setup, I bought it so that I can use the home button on iphone for remote locking of house, love it..

Picture quality is very much improved in this version. Ability to install only the apps you want is awesome too.

As a whole, the Apple TV itself is great. A much smoother user experience and a fully featured App Store make it worth an upgrade/new purchase. But man that remote. While the technology in it is awesome, it's finicky at best. Scrolling through menus and scrubbing through shows can go from a pleasant experience to an oversensitive nightmare. I've looked in the options and haven't found anything to make it better. With that said, there may be something burried that I'm just missing so take it with a grain of salt. Plus the darn thing is so small the 5 minute pre tv look for the remote is a standard practice in my house now. So, in summary, it's worth the money but maybe look into a low end harmony remote.

I had the third generation of Apple TV . Apple TV fourth generation exceeds several times the speed and convenience .

Apple TV only took a few minutes to setup. I'm now able to stream content from my favorite iPad apps on my TV.

Another great Apple product. The new remote with voice control and a touch pad makes selecting things much easier.

Very versatile 1080p streaming device lets you stream from many internet services directly to your tv through hdmi. This includes HBO, showtime, Vudu, etc., if you have a subscription, plus free services like YouTube. iPhone/iPad owners can directly connect with their devices and display photos, play music and videos, and mirror all content. The downloadable app capability allows custom configuration using apps from the iTunes App Store. A system control function turns on my Sony XBR tv and selects the correct input, making this a one-button control. The new touchpad remote with Siri works well. One drawback is lack of an optical audio output; all audio goes through the hdmi cable.

Works great. It is very easy to use. However, the remote is very sensitive, and could be difficult to use at times

I love the siri remote and the apps, it's a must-have if you have other apple devices and want to do airplay display

So glad that we upgraded to the apple tv 4th generation. Love the voice control. Makes searching so much easier!

Great upgrade with Siri. Wish it was in 4k but will have to upgrade next time.
