I had an old 3rd generation for some time now and decided to finally upgrade. It's so much faster and for some reason the picture just looks way better. Doesn't support 4K but it's very close to it. Ended up buying a second one for my bedroom

I love what this is becoming but like everything else from apple something is always left out. In this case it is 4K support. The added Siri is great.

YAY so glad its here!! we have been waiting like 4 years for this to come out. Apple tv needed a huge update that thats what it got! I love how i can just say a person or show and it will take me right too it. Is new and glitches sometimes but works more than messes up. Only bad part is not all the apps i want like crunchy roll i on there but im sure will be on soon so no big deal :P

Siri is awesome and the ability to add apps is overdue. Great product so far.

Best streaming device around. Setup is made easy with NFT from iPhone and the UI is simply the best out there. I purchased another one today, the 4th gen with 4K for a friend and will probably purchase another soon for the entertainment room I’m currently constructing. The number of apps available for this device is endless and more are being added daily.

Simple set up, cool features. I install electronics on boats and yachts, this is a great way to allow my customers to stream videos and apps to their tv via Apple mirroring using cellular data when they can’t access standard internet.

This product is right in line with most all other Apple products! The new remote, new interface, apps, siri, opening up possibilities with Apple Home, etc make this a must buy for anyone wanting a great addition to your line of Apple products!

I love the addition of the App Store and the Siri integration. The video card in it has also improved which helps considering that one of our Apple TVs is hooked up to a projector that is spanned by 100 feet of HDMI cable. Where the previous models would flicker on the screen, this one produces a pure steady image that is stunning. I would definitely recommend the new Apple TV.

Even though I am already partial to Apple products I really like the touch pad remote and being able to speak into this remote. It does not search the internet for you but it will search apps that you have downloaded for movies, music, etc that you request. I am happy with it and purchased a second and third one as gifts and they love them. THE LIVE SCREEN SAVER IS THE BOMB!!!!

Great product! In my opinion it is very well worth having. It has great picture quality even on my 65 inch TV. What I discovered that was truly impressive to me was how I can now use my ipod to control my music played through my stereo using apple TV just as long as I stay within my wireless router distance. No need to have the computer on or ipod cable connected. A+ to Apple.

This version of the Apple TV is even better than the last version which was pretty solid! As the App Store grows so will the ways to use the Apple TV. From entertainment to games it is surprisingly fun and easy to use. Won't become the primary gaming system in our house but is a great platform for one or two players to play quickly. Four player support would be a welcome addition

While I love the new interface, the lack of 4K is forcing me to return it. Seems like a major omission with 4K televisions becoming more affordable.

I canceled cable over 3 years ago. I tried a Roku, Chrome Player and the Apple TV. I ended up with 4 Apple TV. Change one of them to the new one. I like it a lot. Faster, better remote, Siri integration works very well. I was very skeptical of the games, it changed my mind. It has a lot of potential in becoming a casual gaming such as the Wii. We mainly use Netflix, Hulu and HBO.

First one I got had a problem with the remote. No hassles on swapping it for another in store. Set up was a breeze, easier if you set up the app on the phone and use that as a keyboard. The remote is intuitive and the size is just right. Has all the apps I currently need though looking forward to an Amazon video app at some point. I own the Roku 3 as well and like them both.

The new Apple TV is a fantastic streaming box! In addition to being extremely fast with it's new processor, it's 802.11ac wifi antennas offer very fast downloading speeds so that never again will you wait while your video is buffering. But it also has one major feature that it's biggest rival Roku does not offer, Dolby Digital Plus decoding. The reason that's important, is that Netflix and Amazon Prime Video use DD+ as their audio. If you don't have a home theater that's newer than three years old or a streaming box that can decode it, you will not be able to listen to those apps / channels in 5.1 or 7.1 surround sound. Roku offers DD+ passthrough, but that does you no good if you own a home theater that's three years old, or older because they don't have the ability to decode DD+, I found that out when I bought my Roku 3. The only thing that I don't like about the new Apple TV is that as of this writing, the Apple TV doesn't offer Amazon Prime Video, but from what I've been reading, that will be getting added soon to the lineup.

I am impressed with the speed of loading, browsing and especially when jumping forward in a movie or video especially in YouTube. Not sure how it does this as my computer doesn't do it this well but it is impressive. Just about everything is better in this version and the latest fixed to the iRemote allows you to use the keyboard to type in those pesky passwords. Great product.

This unit is much better than it's predecessor in performance and features.

I had the previous generation Apple TV and this one is bigger (surprisingly, usually they get smaller and smaller) but it does pack more new features than the previous generations so that's understandable. I do wish the unit comes preinstalled with at least most of the usual Apple apps but it comes almost empty so you do have to preload some apps before being able to use it.

Easy to use and I love the airplay capability. Another great Apple product!

Really like the new remote. Big fan of Apple TV. Like the AirPlay feature.
