behind Roku except mirroring from iOS
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.My first choice for a media streamer was a Roku for many reasons (mostly channels and GUI) but I needed the mirroring capabilities from the Apple TV that works seamlessly from my iPhone 6plus! No jack in to plug headphones but you can connect bluetooth headsets and watch your favorite TV without bothering anyone...I have Apple music and that added tons of music I can listen to from my TV, it's an added bonus worth mentioning.

Apple TV is good, Remote Sucks

However the new remote for the device sucks. The touch pad is awful and there is almost no instruction on how to use it and what does what.

Good but dated
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The current gen Apple TV is an improvement in some ways over the previous gen model, it's faster and the voice controls work better than expected. However the remote needs work, it alternates between too sensitive and unresponsive, plus in the dark it takes a moment to orient the remote that wasn't an issue with the previous gen model. The 1080p imagery is good, but with competitors now offering 4k devices, the Apple TV is showing it's limits and age, only buy if you have a large apple based movie library
