After having a Roku for the last 3 years I decided it was time to upgrade. I read a couple of reviews and talked to several friends about AppleTV-everything sounded good. I purchased AppleTV. I am so glad I did! Setup was easy! Operating the remote easy! I am absolutely ecstatic about having my AppleTV! Highly recommend to anyone and everyone!

Being the satisfied owner of 2 Apple TVs, I was excited to learn that Apple had updated the design. Even though the device is $150, I rushed right over to BB and picked it up.The most significant improvement is voice command, which works so well it almost seems like siri is reading my thoughts. The sound and picture are also both noticeably improved. I am happy with this product. I have to knock off a star due to high price and having to manually download common apps which in my opinion should come loaded.

I have a smart tv with most of the same applications (Netflix, Hulu, etc) but I find myself using these apps on the Apple TV more often because of the ease of use of the new Apple Remote. I purchased this to replace an older-generation Apple TV and find that this one streams content much better than the old. Must be the upgraded specifications!

It's been years since Apple came out with a new Apple TV, and it has been generally worth the wait. The newer unit is much faster than the third generation model and now supports apps, such as shopping and games. To describe it easily to anyone, it's like an iPad, but for a television. There are more improvements that Apple should address, such as the terrible way it forces users to enter passwords with a non-wrapping keyboard display on screen, but it should be easy to fix once they get around to it.

I use this on my tv that doesn't have satellite and it works great. I bought it to replace my 2nd gen Apple TV. I also have a couple of Roku's and a FireTV. The Apple TV is superior to all of those. The App Store and integration with my other Apple devices makes this my goto streaming device (even though it is hooked up to my XBox One).

I bought this Apple TV for my mother who was looking to cut the cord on cable and head into the HD era. As the product goes, Apple really made some strides in updating the Apple TV. The new Siri Remote is fabulous as you can use your voice to search and the remote is IR/Bluetooth so you can turn on and adjust volume on your actual tv. The new interface is easy to use and navigate and the App Store is a game changer for adding additional content like apps and games to your Apple TV. The downsides are mostly in the setup. Now Apple has taken some big steps to make set up easier like pairing remotes, phones, and getting on a network. However, typing on this can be a challenge as well as logging into apps with a cable subscription. Apple has announced single sign on for the Apple TV but it is limited to only a few services and it didn't exist at the time I set up this Apple TV. The big thing is that it's better than it was with the previous generation, but it needs to get better and it will. Overall, great update especially for the cord cutters. Apps like Netflix, HBO Now, and Hulu make it easy to dump cable.

I love the Apple TV. I typically know exactly what I want and I knew the Apple TV was a winner. It’s integratation with iTunes and all the other apps makes it a must have. Since I got this I use this more than my music systems to listen to music. Plus Siri works wonderfully on this....maybe even better than phones.

I really like the apps and look forward to new apps for additional capabilities. The remote is great with easy voice commands.

The new Apple TV is so much better then the previous version. The remote is easy to use and the added Siri is great. I don't have cable anymore because of the different apps I can watch tv on. Great product.

If you have a macbook and are an apple person, get the apple tv. Love the airplay and love siri on the remote. Great product.

This apple tv is way better then the old version. First my favorite part about this device. The remote is able to control your tv and receiver which is amazing. Most days now the only remote we need is the apple tv remote. The new ui is very responsive as well as cleaner than the old version. The network card is also a step up I have notice much faster, consistent connection with this device then the old. Even better speeds then my other brands of streaming devices. Really love my new apple tv!

Excellent purchase. We had the past version of Apple TV and were satisfied. We decided to purchase this upgrade on a whim, and love it! We love the voice command options like "what did he say?" And "rewind 30 seconds" and use these features daily. We also like the search feature. So far, very pleased with the upgrade. I would recommend it!

The newer version is powerful and flexible. You can choose desired apps and keep you Apple TV home screen less cluttered. The best part of the tv is remote control with accelerometer and gyroscope. Apart from enhancing tv watching experience, you can play plenty of cool games using you remote. I will highly suggest people to buy Apple TV.

We decided to drop our cable TV service, stick with internet, and just use streaming services. I originally had Chromecast, but decided I wanted a little more. After a couple weeks of reading reviews I decided on the Apple TV. After having it for over a month, I'm still very pleased with the decision. Between the built in applications, our Netflix account, and my Amazon Prime account, there is plenty to watch. News and weather I get from the internet. My F1 addiction is via a web site, which I mirror to the Apple TV from my MacBook. And now I'm saving over $100 a month by dropping cable TV.

This is a well designed box. The wireless activity is better than other options we have, such as Firestick. You can also mirror what is on your Apple laptop, iPad or iPhone, which is nice when you have content on them that you would like to see on a bigger screen. The remote is better engineered than most. The biggest complaint is that not all content we wish to see is available yet without a cable or satellite subscription. However, they are working on that. Overall, we are happy with it.

I have Roku's, Apple TV, WDTV, the best of all of them is the Apple TV, the latest generation has the best selection of apps as well. Good interface, quick to use, love the voice commands, highly recommended!
