I love the new Apple TV. The ability to download what you want as far as apps go. The picture quality is spot on. Understand an app is on the way for amazon prime members. This will increase the love for this device

Oh my it's simply the best. I had the Amazon product the fire TV and it's going back. Apple has done a great job. It's so good I bought two. Goodbye DirecTV. The only negative is it does not do 4K. But that doesn't really matter because there is no 4K content available or if there is it's very limited. So for now it's simply the best.

Remote simplifies everything. Easy to search and scroll.

I've had a previous generation apple tv for a few years now. The two do not compare! This model is head and shoulders above the previous model. I love the downloadable apps and and the remote. Great buy!

The main update is the App Store, so if you want to change your tv as a big iPhone with its games you sure will like it. Besides that I'm pretty disappointed as the remote is still a pain to use, to me I still use the previous generation on a different tv and like it just as much. Conclusion: better put $60 on the 3rd generation but don't get me wrong it's still a good product just overpriced.

I got this as an upgrade from the previous model. Apparently there are multiple builds for the previous model and some of them not able to run the latest software and as a result not allowed to buy some movie content. It's slightly taller in height, about the same width. New remote control is pretty cool and easy to use and I like the Siri button. Have already updated the software on it twice, early version were buggy. Installing apps from app store is just like on an ipod/iphone.

This new Apple TV provides improved picture quality has an option to purchase / play apps and includes all of the uses from the previous Apple TV's. The remote is more difficult to use due to a "slide" feature for toggling around on the screen rather than the up/ down and side to side buttons the old remote had. Other than the remote being more difficult this has been a great product.

Probably the best product design and functionality ever to replace the cable box. With Siri, you can use your voice to pick programs, and the remote couldn't be simpler and more intuitive to use. Basically 4 buttons and a touch pad. Can't imagine anyone doing a better design that make program viewing as easy as it should be.

I upgraded from the last version of the Apple TV and so far this one seems to be a lot quicker to respond as well as the updated remote. The other option I like is you can add/remove your apps like the IPhone. Now with the addition of games this seems like the media device to have especially if you love the Apple product line.

The Apple TV is awesome, great product and surprisingly for what you get it is very competively priced. My parents upgraded to sling tv and the sling box was more expensive then the Apple TV. Only issue I will mention was we woke up one morning and the Apple TV was no longer working with blinking light about 2 months into ownership. Best Buy handled this poorly as I dropped it off at geek squad and they said they would give me a call back. Never received a call and so when I called them back they had no recollection of me even dropping it off.. I went in and they did end up locating it but no one had tried to do anything to it. They had to keep it a additional day and unfortunately the device had a hardware malfunction.. we called our local Apple store as it was still under warranty. They setup an appointment and walked in. They checked it out and handed a new one over the counter to us. Great show by Apple.. after my experience with Best Buy I will start buying direct from Apple unless they have some amazing price drop at bestbuy.

After returning my Roku 3 for the final time a Best Buy associate suggested I try the Apple TV. I was upset after visiting the same Best Buy 4 days in a row to exchange 3 Roku 3 players that did not work. But I told him I would try it and he was right! It is awesome! Love it!! Worked right out the box and is a great product.

I have a first generation for about four years, and did not really see a need to upgrade at first. Although I do not see a tremendous benefit to it because I am not a gamer, the sleek design but the new touchpad remote that also has Siri is quite a nice touch Although a little bit pricier than before, well worth the upgrade.

I have 5 apple TV's in my house (only one new model) and love them. I like this one so much I think they are all about to be swapped out. The only complaint that I have is how sensitive the touch screen is on the remote. The speed on the new one is awesome and I love being able to play all of the app's from my phone on my tv.

While the remote takes some getting used to do to the sensitivity of the touchpad element, the feature that absolutely kills on this latest iteration of the Apple TV is the Siri capability. Being able to just simply tell Siri what you want to watch or where you want to go is amazing. Great interface and super fast app loading.

The ability to use the Apple TV remote to sleep of the apple TV and connected TV, control TV volume is fantastic The ability to add apps from apps store is great One cons is the lack of support for 4K

Purchased Apple TV product. Concerned it would be confusing and difficult to set up and install. It was just the opposite. Hardest part was putting it next to the TV and connecting one cable. Everything else was menu driven and for a fifty year old it was a piece of cake. Would recommend to anyone

I don't really have any complaints about the apple tv. The interface is beautiful and the remote is very easy to use. Siri also works great. The only downside is the lack of a Spotify and Amazon app.
