Way more tv apps and the fredom to pick and chose which apps we want. If i had to say one think im not super excited about its the touch screen. It took a few days to get used to (after using the old remote for years) but its still cool.

When they first announced this new generation of Apple TV, I was SUPER excited about it. It really seemed like the future of television. Sometimes it lives up to that dream, but mostly it falls short. Overall, this is a decent streaming device but I would really only recommend it if you're already entrenched in the Apple ecosystem and DON'T have a 4K TV.

Air Play

This is a nice feature to share pictures, video with others instead of gathering around a small phone screen. Apps make it easy to add your favorite program apps like HBO Go or DirectV Now.

A little over rated

My biggest issue with it is the screen mirroring. The lag time is very annoying and it doesn't always stay connected. You would that Apple by now can make a product that works as soon as they release it rather than have to wait for a million updates get it right. Save your dollars on this one.
