Great upgrade from prior models
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Have both a 2nd and 3rd gen AppleTV so I'm well used to the set up so I bought this to get an AppleTV for each TV in the house. However, the features for the 4th Gen (TV App), make this a must buy upgrade. So nice to have integrated search and availability. Will probably be buying 2 more to replace the other two older AppleTVs.

Incredible simple

Helps cut the cord with cable.

I have a huge library of movies thru iTunes which lets everyone in the house watch em at will as well as streaming apps. I upped my internet speed and cut the cable cord. Find some friends that are willing to share their cable passwords and viola entertainment at an affordable price. Minus one star for not having amazon prime on it. Apple also fixed their issue with directv now but not worth it in my opinion.

Nice in many ways, but takes some adapting

I like many things about this newer device, but it does take some getting used to. Like the Bluetooth remote but it can be a bit touchy. The interface is different for the main menu and array of apps, and also for specific apps like Netflix. It is a love/hate sort of thing so far. Overall, glad I replaced the old, seems to be more reliable, and most things are better, just get ready for a different interface and remote feel.
