Being able to mirror to smart tv is very convientent for showing family pictures, kids videos etc. Our only complaint is that our direct tv now service doesn't run well with Apple TV however works great with firestick. This could be more of a direct tv problem rather than apple.

It's worth it!

I moved the old one upstairs to the bedroom and put the new one on my tv downstairs. I love that you can download apps and new things that you couldn't do on the earlier version. Go get it

6 months in still missing key content apps
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall the Apple TV has been great as far as design and layout goes, however with key content apps like Amazon and Vudu missing and likely to continue to be missing it is disappointing. For both apps you can use AirPlay to get around the limitation but you shouldn't have to. I'd still recommend the device as it works well and gives you access to your iTunes movies and TV shows.

Already good now made better

The control takes a little to getting used to it. But eliminate the Siri voice reading every thing were the cursor points and the control will work faster and more efficient. By doing this the Siri voice commands don't get affected.

I like the up grade and that it allows you to add what you want in terms of apps instead of it all coming included. The Siri on the remote is OK but doesn't pick up like the commercials says it does. Still a great product

SIRI IS OF GREAT HELP TO SEARCH FOR ANY TV SHOW OR MOVIE OR EVEN PUTTING SUBTITLES ON. YOU CAN EVEN SEARCH BY ACTORS NAMES. THE TV APP IS GREAT AS WELL, IT CONSOLIDATES ALL OF THE APPS AND SEARCHES ANY TITLE YOU REQUEST ON ALL OF THEM.
