I bought this for my parents as a gift and they love it. They have been using it for a while now. I connected it directly to the router using an ethernet cable and it works without any problems. My parents have no difficulty using it. The menu is very easy and intuitive.

I purchased this not being a fan of Apple. I found this is better for streaming than the firestick.

I skipped the Apple TV 3 because I didn't think it was that great of a deal cost wise. So now with the 4th generation, it's night and day between it and the ATV2. I love love love it. You can do and see pretty much anything you want, from live TV, to pay TV, and all iTunes music and most games!

bought this along with an antenna to try to cable free. as with all apple products, easy to use!

I purchased two of these. They are a great for streaming my video library from my laptop. You can also stream with airplay from your iPhone. Pretty amazing if you ask me! I only give 4 stars because of the price and the touchy remote. You can find a lot of streaming devices at a better price and the remote leaves a lot to be desired. Not a fan of the touchpad. I like the old Apple TV remote better.

The latest gen Apple TV is an excellent addition to our living room. Entertainment options aside (of which there are many), the Apple TV also serves as a smart hub for our Hue Lights and works great with my bluetooth Beats. One drawback: no Amazon Instant Video. Otherwise I highly recommend!

I'm pretty impressed with the latest AppleTV. I have both v2 and v4 and found the updates useful. I wish there was a way to change the skin (maybe there is and I haven't found it) since I find the gray background to be difficult to read during the day. Love that I can load my Plex app on AppleTV now.

Overall, I'm pretty happy with this latest gen Apple TV. The functionality is good enough, it's certainly an improvement over the previous generation. My only complaint is that the remote is kind of annoying. The touch pad at the top isn't always the most responsive and with that being the most used part of the remote it gets annoying at times. Not a deal breaker, it still works, just a little annoying.

I was originally told this Apple TV was essentially the same as the previous version but with the ability to choose what apps you have. The operating system is completely different and a huge improvement on the previous version! The TV app on this version was worth the price of the upgrade!

I have 2 of these now for Netflix and my iTunes library. It's very fast and everything works well.

Works great, great upgrade to existing Apple Tv. Love that the remote is now rechargeable as well.

I absolutely love my Apple TV. The new models allow you to play games and other assorted applications. I can also play my music and watch my purchased content. But the best part is mirroring my screen from a Mac, iPhone, or IPad to my TV

I'm glad they still have the cheaper and basic one for older people who don't understand the touch feature of the new one. I bought it for my father in law who needs to be able to get Amazon and this is the only way. He can air drop from his phone too. I'm glad you are still selling the original.

Great device to cut the cord with. You can ask for a program and it'll find it within all the apps!

Its a good product, but takes too long to get set up and (unlike the previous generations) you need top notch high speed internet to even use it

My HDTV is smart TV, so I already have access to such popular apps as Netflix, Youtube, GooglePlay etc. But this AppleTV still adds value to me since I can easily play photos and videos that I took with my iPhone on the big screen.
