I found that this device is redundant for my main tv because I already have a smart tv. I will use it for my bedroom or basement tv

I bought this to replace my aging Apple TV. It's more money than the last generation but I figured the voice controls would be nice and the faster processor would load content faster. But this unit is much more buggy than my old ATV, it freezes or restarts itself enough to be annoying. There is a constant lag when using the remote. The voice controls are so bad they are useless. By the time Siri gets what you are saying you could have just found it the old way. I love the ability to stream to the Apple TV from all of my devices but that's possible on the older cheaper option. I'd recommend waiting until Apple finally gets Siri on the same level as Alexa or OK Google, and hopefully stops requiring you to need the remote for voice commands ( more like Amazons Alexa speaker). In the end this devices is not advanced enough for the price so you may as well wait for the next gen or buy the old cheap one, I wish I had.

Good tv supplement, we watch lots of Netflix HBO go and prepaid iTunes movies thru appleTV

As now the tvos is updated and the new siri remote is more advanced and easy to use.

I enjoy being able to watch all the shows I want without having to pay 100's of dollars.

Picked up this Apple TV for the office. It allows me to put up construction plans or spreadsheets in the office when I need to so everyone can see them clearly without haveing to group around my computer monitor. Also allows me to put on the news during the day if I want.

The the new function of voice command. Do not like the touch navigation and click function.

The Apple TV is great for watching movies if you are into the Apple ecosystem, and the ability to use 3rd party apps is a welcome addition. The touch remote may be the worst input device Apple ever designed but it's still usable and doesn't really affect the functionality.

The new Apple TV is awesome, so easy to use. I wish there are more app to use on that.

I'm a tech savvy guy and I have an older version of the Apple TV that I use all the time. However, I bought this for my parents since they didn't want to replace their relatively new TVs with smart TVs. My parents are the kind of people that read instruction manuals, but this, like most other Apple products, doesn't come with one. Product works flawlessly, but I wish it came with instructions.

Just amazing, if you have an iPad or any mac this is almost a must have. All the wireless features are so cool, blew my grandpas mind when he could should us all the pictures off his iPad on my moms 75 inch. She needed it for iTunes, Netflix, and Amazon. Everyone's happy

Is really good cause I can watch movies stream my movies from my phone to the apple tv

I purchased this as a gift for my wife since she is such an Apple freak. It turned out to be fantastic because I get to enjoy it too. Took a little while to get all the tips and tricks but now it's adding to our enjoyment for those nights when there is nothing on Directv.

I live my Apple TV, beats the heck out of cable and satellite. I had all these channels and only watched 5-6 of them on a regular basis and paid $140/month for it. Now I can pick and choose what I want and only pay for that. Saving s ton of money and still get to watch my shows.

This was a nice upgrade from our original Apple TV device. Easy to set up and use.

works good if you have and I phone to airplay. Remote is better than previous versions

This is my 3rd Apple TV. I love the device. Only complaint is lack of 4K support.

This gets struck in between and does not respond. Have to unplug and restart again. Did not expect this from Apple.

We purchased the Apple TV and are very happy with it. We love that it is voice activated

The Apple TV is a great product. It allows you to access all of your tv / movie subscriptions, and so much more. You can also access most anything from the app store. If you plan on using it to play games or store a lot of apps, consider getting the larger storage capacity.
