Nice new interface, though the sounds and overly large background screens feel a bit too much like a game console to me (possibly by design?)...add to that the Nintendo Wii-like remote clicking sounds and you'd swear I bought a game console instead of a movie and video set-top box (again...by design?) I should probably check out the downloadable games that I can now purchase and play on this thing... Those two noticeable changes I can certainly live with...it's the new remote that I can't seem to catch and corner... I feel like each tiny slide and brush I make with my finger across the plastic touch-sensitive area moves the cursor/pointer halfway across the screen instead of just one spot to the right or left...even the TINIEST of finger movements seem to do this. I've seen amateurs maneuver around better when rounding up rabbits in a remote Rhode Island field (not true)... Could this be to condition us to use Siri more regularly for navigating? Probably. Will I rush to do that? Not until Siri can find video and movie selections I have uploaded into iTunes (or not) with the names I have created for my library organization method...or lack thereof.

I recently moved to a new place and was debating whether I should get regular cable or an Apple TV. I'm so glad I made the decision to stick to the Apple TV. Absolutely love it.

Great product that just does things. Once I hooked the Apple TV to my TV, it just figured out and setup the remote to control the necessary parts of the TV. Like on/off and volume. I accidentally ran across the features because I had no idea it was doing this.

Easy installation and great results from small box. My old TV became a great smart TV with Apple TV. Not only watching videos but games, shoppings and more. My iPhone could control the Apple TV through an app. Could connect the network via LAN cable or WiFi.

I did not originally go into Best Buy to purchase this item, but after an employee gave me a demo and showed me how it worked I decided to purchase it. This has been a super good purchase. Like all Apple products it is beautiful and is high quality. It is easy to operate as well. What strikes me though is how I am now enamoured with what the Apple TV does. I am streaming music, buying movies, watching TV, watching You Tube, and using other apps I thought I would never really have use for on a television. In addition the Apple TV has convinced me that I can "cut the cord" and not really missing anything.

The Apple TV 4 is the device that Apple is going to build from. I have most of the set top boxes including Apple TV 3 generation and still find myself going to my roku most, however once more apps and updates get pushed out the Apple TV 4 will find it place as competition to roku

I upgraded from an older Apple TV, I can't say it's a great improvement, but some changes are nice. Voice search (via Siri) is its best feature. It also has a very good streaming quality. However, concurrently I purchased an LG 4K TV with WebOS interface which is even simpler to stream from Netflix, but no Apple connection. Overall, if you don't have an Apple TV I recommend it, otherwise it's not a huge upgrade.

I have all of the previous generation Apple TV's but this one takes the top prize. The remote is so much better than the last stick. Have a volume control and the fact if you have a newer tv it will shut of the apple tv and the HDTV is a huge plus for me. No complaints so far.

Overall this is a great upgrade from previous Apple TV versions. The best thing is the new remote; so easy to use to navigate the menus and screens. The next best thing is the ability to download apps; I have downloaded some awesome games. However, the new Siri feature fell short in my opinion. Siri doesn't talk back to you and the only available language is English. Hope this is improved in upcoming updates.

I like this version a lot. It has less bugs when I use it. With the third edition airplay was hit and miss, same with streaming from iTunes on my computer. This one is pretty much spot on. Compared to the fire stick, which I also own, I think it's easier to use. The one draw back so far is couple apps not yet seen on Apple TV yet, amozon prime is one of them. However there is a easy way around that just airplay it from iPad or iPhone. Overall this is not perfect but heading in right direction, with good interaction with my tv and other apple products and not to mention the ability to play games.

Built in Siri is convenient when searching and inputting passwords. The remote is great for easy scrolling. AppStore integration opens the door for games and other apps.

Last year we bought the older model for Christmas and this year we upgraded. We are getting rid of paid tv and will be getting this for all our tvs. Love the new remote. There are some really cool screen savers too.

My wife and I have Apple phones but nothing else until I finally succumbed to a very knowledgeable Apple product friend's advie to "bite the bullet" and get the Apple TV. We were pleasantly surprised how easy it was to use due to the almost clone-like features to our Iphones.

Did my research about this before buying and was skeptical at first. So glad I cancelled my cable tv and use this instead!!! Saves so much money, just need a fast internet package so streams smoothly and app images load fast. Love how easy it is to use. Apple TV is the best.

I purchased this after reading several reviews. This is the latest version of the apple TV and has many improvements over the previous version. I am tempted to cut the cord with cable and just use the apple TV. Most shows I watch are on a few days after they originally air.

The picture quality is amazing. I had the original Apple TV and I thought it was good at 720 resolution and this blows it away. Easy to use the new remote takes some getting used to but when you get the hang of it you will be breezing by all the menus and thru all the movies.

I bought the Apple TV because we are going to drop cable television due to ever increasing costs. The Apple TV allows us access to Netflix, Hulu and more. We can watch You Tube and even connect to my Apple computer to watch photos, videos and more! I recommend this purchase

Great way to access Apple TV and other channnels. Much easier to use than the older generations. It also has a great remote interface that helps with game playing. The ease of utilizing your existing cable is greatly improved. Not sure 64 k is necessary.

If it’s on my phone, it’s on my tv if I need it to be. Helps me see home security on a big screen if necessary instead of my cell. And if I want to watch a movie on my phone, I can just transfer. Overall good purchase. A little pricy though unfortunately

Very happy with the look, interface and performance of my new Apple TV. Worth the money.
