I have enjoyed this Apple product. I previously owned the 3rd generation model, which my family enjoyed, as well. This has been a great upgraded. I have noticed that we use this model more than the previous. I would recommend this to any Apple individual or family.

I bought this product mainly to run a hub at my camp. I bought a door lock that used apple as a hub. Now I can unlock and lock my door from my iPhone. The Apple TV does have to be close to the lock in order for it to work. Preferably on the same level as the door lock.

My wife and I got an Apple TV about a year ago because we had some rewards points that were gonna expire and we didn't know what to get. We loved our Apple TV so much that for Christmas we bought one for my sister. She has 3 kids and said they all love to watch on it.

My TV is a smart TV and has Google's video streaming services, YouTube, Pandora etc built-in, so this Apple TV really doesn't add much value. But, it offers the unique ability to mirror your iPhone display making it really easy and fun to share videos and pictures that you took with your iPhone with friends and family on the big screen. And since it was on sale, I was happy to grab it.

I like this product Apple TV . It works fine. I really recommend this to my friends

we have several smart TVs, and a Roku 3. they are all just as good as the newest Apple TV, but if you live in the Apple ecosystem, you have to get this device. it is the only way to get iTunes, iPhotos, etc. without having to "throw" your mobile device to a compatible TV.

If you already own an iPhone, iPad, or any Apple devices, this device makes perfect sense. For me, I enjoy being able to mirror my iPhone or iPad screen onto my TV in an instant. I can watch anything that I can find online without having to go through the TV apps.

All the updates to the new Apple TV have made it so much better than the previous version. Being able to download a greater variety of apps and delete the ones you don't want on your home screen is a huge upgrade

It's just OK. You could get the same job done with other streaming devices for half the price. I rarely use mine.

This generation is better than the previous generations that I own, but there are some things that need to be improved for the price. The movie experience has been improved because they have the memory, but in regards to apps... they don't show ratings. I don't buy apps unless I see the reviews. To be honest, this is where Steve Jobs is needed and he would have produced a far more polished product.

I started years ago with the first apple tv and this one offers so much more! I don't care for the expensive TV services and what this provides me eliminates most of that stuff we pay for and never use. I look forward to the day soon I cut the cord and satellite!!

I got this device primarily to download the Hong Kong TVB app called Encore TVB. This allows streaming of content from Hong Kong Legally without the use of TV box. It's a bonus for cable subscribers also. Great device, plug and play pretty much and it works well.

Used the third generation for several years and received a bestbuy gift card so I thought I would upgrade. I like the set up if this generation better than the previous and was worth purchasing for all the added features. My only complaint is the remote is a bit touchy.

I purchased this as a gift for my mother so she could cut some cords. From what she's told me, she seems to enjoy using it. I have one as well and use it for screen mirroring in addition to all the wonderful streaming apps. I haven't used it for gaming so I can't comment on that. The remote is a little awkward to hold at times, but it looks like they make cases to help out in that department.

The 4th generation apple tv is great! My 12 yr old daughter was able to set it up.

Easy to use. Improved design and color. It now matches my electronic equipment.

It does almost exactly the same as a Roku, amazon fire tv or google chrome, which is streaming content from the internet on your tv. The only difference is that you can also mirror your iPhone or ipad or mac on the tv. If that's worth 4 to 5 times more (chrome $35 vs apple tv $160) this is the perfect gadget for you.

This is definitely the best box out there if you are trying to have something compatible with your apple products. I have an ipad air2 and iphone so this is what works best in my case. Wish there were more apps available to stream through this box but like i said for apple products this is the best you'll get right now.
