I owned the 3rd generation model as well. The operating system runs nicely. The Siri features are a little quirky (capitalization is tricky), but I think this will improve over time through updates. I would also like to see Apple roll out a Live TV platform or support for PlayStation Vue.

As good as my old Apple TV, which our son "borrowed" for college, but twice the price......maybe I just don't need the added features? Great unit, but so was the prior Gen, oh yeah, and the "track pad" on the remote - no thanks, WAY too sensitive (and I adjust the sensitivity....) Still a great product, just not sure it's that much better than what it replaces

Even a luddite can operate this. The remote is a little complicated.

This is my go to streaming box. Great with a Bluetooth controller for games. A lot more than just a streaming box. Now I just need to get it with 4K streaming to match my t.v. Performance but this is amazing graphics for 1080p

This is the best streaming box that I have used the Apple TV connects well with Mac computers as well as iPhones it just goes well with either one of those things so if you have one it will make your experience that much greater.

Our updated appletv is great! We kept the original version for another room but installed the new one in our family room where everything is up to date. Access to our iMac is much faster and easier to watch movies or just listen to music.

tvOS is nice, Siri works great when you want to talk to your TV.

Love Apple TV. I have the older generation Apple TV and love the updates in the newest appletv. The only thing I don't love 100% is the sensitivity of the remote; I'm still getting used to that. But all in all, wonderful technology!

This is a really simple device, which is good but there aren't as many apps as I would like or have on my iPad or iPhone. I got this to stream from any media player and Amazon video and there isn't an app for amazon and I couldn't get it to stream from other servers so I will read the reviews before I buy any apple product again. They are really slipping.

Still quite a few apps that are unavailable on the box. Not Apple's fault but frustrating nonetheless.

Definite improvement over the previous model. The remote in my opinion gets a bit annoying. Any little touch and i end up accidentally turning on the unit along with my television. Only con for me is the remote. Otherwise great product.

I had recently been given an Apple TV as a gift. I like it so much I purchased this second unit for another room in my house. I prefer this over Amazons product and I've been able to save money on my cable / satellite bill. Perfect!

Seems like finally amazon prime video will be available in fall 2017. I have both the 32GB and the 64GB and for streaming I can't notice a difference. It is possible that if used for gaming the extra memory helps or is a must.

Not bad for an alternative to a cable box. The only thing that I'm kinda upset about, not Apple's fault, is that there is no Xfinity app for Apple TV. It shouldn't matter what device I use Xfinity needs to make it available on Apple TV.
