It is much better than the last version and the ability to install your own apps is what makes it so great. Working on upgrading my other Apple TV units now.

The new Apple TV is a great Upgrade from the version 3 ATV. The added features and open source app programming allow there to be more content and apps to choose from.

Love the versatility of Apple TV. Easy to set-up...even for someone as "techno-challenged" as myself. Remote control is very touchy, easy to overshoot your target.

I was surprised that this would not allow me to view anything from Amazon Prime streaming, so I returned it. I could not believe it didn't have that capability. I kept researching thinking that could not be true. Isn't Amazon Prime more popular than Netflix? Crazy. It was also crazy annoying the way you had to enter passwords, I about lost my mind endlessly scrolling to get to one letter and then endlessly scrolling to get to the next letter. No thanks. I returned it the next day.

It pays to upgrade to the latest version of Apple TV. More channels to enjoy. In addition, it allows apps customization. However, I expected a more functional remote, although it is better that the previous generation. No mute button? Apple can do better that.

While Apple has lost it's touch of perfecting a product before releasing it, they still excel at the aesthetic design of their products. The Apple TV, while improving with updates, still is missing the mark with features and apps other devices offer for less.

This has been a great product for our family! We love the screen mirroring and we can do apps on our IPAD or read, it's been really great for family time!

I am impressed with how far the 4th get has gone beyond the third. I suggest getting as much memory as possible if you plan to use it for games, audio and photos.

I use my Apple TV every day. Love the screen saver. I also love the fact that I no longer need cable tv. This has helped bring my monthly bills down.

We got this for our 9 year old because we've gone to live streaming tv. She was even able to set it up herself! The Siri remote makes everything quicker.

I bought this to replace my Apple TV 3, specifically to gain the app support and games for my 5 year old. Since a 5 year old loses interest quickly it is nice there are so many free apps. But it works great and overall I am happy with my purchase.

Not much other to say than, this is a almost perfect device for streaming all of your content. The only thing I would like to see changed is 4K streaming.
