Not sure about that. The new remote is cool, and it does offer,ore content, but to be honest, there's as much or more from competing products that are way cheaper...beginning to think Apple is not as relevant with new features and plays catchup a lot...not good when you are pricing yourself out of competition!

I was hesitant to purchase as I didn't know much about Apple TV but I am more than pleased with my purchase. After having it for about a month I'm happy with the ease of use and all the options available.

I bought a smart tv and did not have any of the apps I wanted. I researched Apple TV and it's far more convenient than its competitors. I want more than just Netflix and Hulu. I am able to get the most selection of tv network apps with Apple TV and since I have both the iPhone and MacBook, I can mirror my other Apple products to the Apple TV. The options are endless when you can mirror your phone or laptop; they call this feature airplay. Price is well worth it.

I loved the last generation apple tv, and when I found out the new one would have an app store I was sold!! This box is amazing for any cord cutter wifi streaming types, and has some incredible features.

I love this Apple TV. Makes it easy to share pictures, videos, etc. with everyone in the room along with being sleek and overall just more pleasant to use than fire sticks or chromecast.

So far the apps have been working great and way better than the older version. I just wish Siri was more intuitive when typing bc you have to do it manually i.e. usernames and passwords. BUT, I really enjoy it and would definitely recommend it.

Apple is always well known for their products but the new 4th Gen Apple TV is a game changer for any TV and especially steping up from the previous 3rd Gen Apple TV. Siri works incredibly fast and knowing my TV is voice compatable now with the new Apple TV it makes getting what I want to watch, play, or listen to a better and easier experience! 2 thumbs up from me! Thank you Best Buy for carrying this product and Thank you Apple for everything you make for us!

I already had an older Apple TV and I upgraded to this because of the storage. But so far I haven't used it and I think the older one was easier to use, maybe because I don't use Siri. The old remote was simple...elegant...basically an APPLE product. The new remote has more features but it isn't as intuitive.

Really enjoy streaming video and Apple TV Gen 4 is great. Easy set up (pretty much plug it in), easy navigation, App Store to download all the popular streaming services (Netflix, etc.), and so much more. Easy activation of channels from my satellite TV service, iTunes movies (lots of 99-cent rentals weekly), music, podcasts, speed test app, games, and universal search - one search on all available sites to find your video.

Having actual storage for games and apps plus having Siri on the remote makes searching for shows, movies etc. so much easier. You can also use Siri to spell out all of your app passwords the first time around as well, great for long and complex passwords. I bought the 64GB version before this one and I recommend the 32GB simply because most people aren't going to use that much storage anyways since purchased movies and music are stream from itunes online anyhow.

Just as easy to set up as the original Apple TV, but now with Siri and gesture controls. Haven't explored the app store much, yet, but we didn't buy it for gaming anyway. I only wish it output 4K video.

Upgraded from my 3rd generation Apple TV and was not disappointed. Really enjoy the ability to access the App Store and the touch pad feature on the new remote is a huge plus. Overall, great product!

Bought this unit as a present for my mother. I have the previous generation AppleTV and use it daily. The new remote took some getting used to, but I do like it. Siri and speech-to-text is REALLY nice. I wish Siri could do more functions, but having Siri at all is a bonus. I like the expanded App store and having more control over what is on the device. The downside is having to take the time to search for and install apps that previously came standard (Netflix, YouTube, etc.). It's a one-time set-up though, so it's not that big a deal. Overall, we are very happy with the purchase. When my AppleTV is ready to be put out to pasture, I will be replacing it with one of these units.

I recently purchased this Apple TV to replace an older model. I couldn't be happier. The voice activated remote is very helpful to find shows and movies. I highly recommend this product for your home.

The upgraded Apple TV performs better than my old Apple TV. My chief complaint is the functionality of the remote (which others have indicated is a problem as well). Movement via the trackpad requires patience especially when trying to type via the visual keyboard. Other than that, this is a great product.

Improved GUI, love the voice feature and the touch function on the remote. Apple TV box is slightly bigger than the previous generation but still sits well in my living room without appearing awkward.

Love this product! The touch sensor on the remote is a little hard to get used to in the beginning, but then it's a breeze! Love the Siri option too!

I have an Apple TV 3rd generation and this new one blows it out of the water!! Couldn't be happier. They add some new apps weekly and I'm hoping they have their own subscription service in the future.

The new UI is a great improvement and the Siri aspect to the remote is nice. The games are very Wii like and will consider getting additional game remotes. Just don't drop the new remote as it has glass on the top and like an iPhone will shatter. Hopefully, Garmin will release there protective sleeve soon.
