Easy to set up, many apps, best part is being able to talk to the remote for commands.

To be up front, I did not ever own the earlier Apple TV, so cannot compare the two. That being said, I think this is a great product that is still a little early in its life, and needs some maturing. Netflix and Hulu work great, as well or maybe slightly better than on my Roku. There are some wonderful content providers via the apps (Smithsonian and TED Talks are at the top for me) and both are free. Here is what I would like to see in the future. 1. Much clearer notice if a "channel" or app, is fully tied to a cable tv provider and only shows clips, partially tied (latest episode of a show for free), or available fully without having a cable tv provider (either free or with a monthly subscription (like Showtime or HBO). 2. More premium content available. Again, like Showtime or HBO. 3. Basically an a la cart cable package without having to deal with having cable tv with 500 channels just to get the 10 channels that you watch.

On my way to becoming a cord cutter with the new 4th generation Apple TV, the games are amazing and the App Store has lots of cool apps, and the Siri remote is one of kind.

I've been using and loving my gen 2 Apple TV for several years. This blows it out of the water completely. With the new remote, it's like having a tablet on my tv. So great.

The app store really opens this device up to so much more. The integration with my photos, movies and music really helps me streamline what hardware I need in my living room.

This is the best of all streaming devices!! Hands-down – if Apple TV can't do it then it can't be done. User-friendly with all options available. Nothing but positive to say

I've been an Apple TV user since the beginning. This new one is great. With the ability to download apps for anything and the amazing controller it was a no brainier for me.

There is a numerous amount of apps that my family uses and is very easy to set up. The games are fun that even my 3 year old can navigate through it and play along with us.

A solid upgrade from the previous generations, the new Apple TV is worth the money for those deep in the Apple world. The Siri remote and gaming ability make it easy and fun.

Very easy to install, typical stellar performance of an apple product. Loved it so much that I bought a second device a week later and will purchase another for my parents.

The new OS and Siri remote make this a great upgrade. At first I was skeptical about the Siri remote, but it makes searching and entering text extremely easy. The new OS looks great and works much faster. It cleans things up and makes it a great addition to a home theatre as it gives access to your iTunes library and moves quick and seamless. It also has great new apps including games, work-outs and weather apps.

I use my apple tv for netflix and to watch my apple movies and tv shows so the upgrade to the new apple tv didn't really make much of a difference. The new remote is awesome. I would certainly buy the new apple tv vs. the old one however I wouldn't upgrade to the new one.

This is our 2nd Apple TV and it is awesome. You can speak to it to find movies and it searches all channels, not just iMovies.

best interface, very fast. no 4k, but won't make a difference unless your tv is over 65".

I liked this product very much.. the user interface is sleek and the remote works very well.. also works well to play as a casual gamer if you don't have a gaming console.

Love the new Apple TV it works much better now that you have voice control I think Apple came out with the awesome awesome new Apple TV I'm so glad I got it from Best Buy

Bought the Apple tv for the bedroom for watching netflix. Works great! 4k support would have been nice but seeing as i dont own a 4k tv diesnt really impact me presently.

It is a great upgrade from the Apple TV 2. We are still getting used to the "touch" screen but love the other features of the new remote. I also like the "App" capability.

This is a great product that is much better then what comes with Smart Tv's. If you like the iPhone app store you'll like the AppleTV app store since it's pretty similar.

Really like the ability to use Siri to quickly find shows vs typing in on the old version. It also immediately recognized all of my components and controlled my tv volume
