This is my third AppleTV. I've upgraded twice. I love the product! This version is awesome. The remote is now interactive and has Siri built in. The remote senses movement so games like bowling, golf, racing, etc. are now possible. Siri is tailored to movies and TV answers. You can ask her to show you action movies, from the 90's, with De Niro. The best thing for me is - if you miss a piece of dialogue you can ask her "What did he say?" And she will back up 10 seconds, turn on subtitles, increase the dialogue volume and decrease the action volume for 10 seconds. Very neat.

Highly recommended. This is our 4th Apple TV and it's the best by far. The integration of Siri is simple and easy to use. The Apple TV remote automatically configured itself to operate the volume on our TV - no having to hunt through on-line manuals for a 3-digit code. An additional benefit and surprise was that it supports HDMI-CEC. This means that when you press any button on the Apple TV remote, it automatically "wakes" and switches your TV to the correct input - no need to use one remote to switch inputs and then another to control the device - it all just happens.

I have been a fan/user of the apple TV platform for a few years now, and I can say that I've always enjoyed what it offered. But, for a while we only have been getting small updates on performance. This time around not only do we get a more powerful device, but functionality has been greatly improved with more access to apps and other functions. Also, going back to having a personal space available (with the internal drive) to the user makes things even better! The new remote is another big plus, once you try it you can't go back to the old way of doing things.

One stop for all movies, music, light gaming and streaming (from mac) experience. I'm so hooked on movies so now I can watch them every time I feel so. Outstanding selection of everything (movies, shows, games, apps), easy to navigate interface, picture and sound quality is superior. Well, sound is not like on BluRay, but very close. Picture is pretty much the same. Impossible to notice the difference with naked eye. My first experience with Apple TV and very successful one. I was very skeptical about this piece of tech. But Apple did wonders as usual.

I have 2 other of the older Apple TV's and they are still in use. I needed another one so I decided to get the new version with the storage. I'm really glad I did. I like the new interface, and the new remote with the small track pad integrated into it is the best feature. When I plugged it in, it automatically switch my TV input to the Apple TV; that's cool. But, turning it off does not revert the process, and since I use a Logitech Harmony to automatically switch everything, I decided to go into the Apple TV options and turn off the automatic switching.

There are imitators but no one does it like Apple. Siri and Apple TV go together like peanut butter and Jelly and work flawlessly. The touchpad on the control is perfect and makes for an even better navigating experience. Apps did you say Apps? that's right! now you can download your favorites and enjoy them in your living room with the family on a larger stage. The wall art, I mean screen savers are AMAZING and I catch myself just watching them sometimes. I hope this helps you make an informed decision. You tried the rest, now get the best.

I've owned each generation of the "black box" Apple TV. After watching keynote, films, and other videos, I wasn't really sure how different this new Apple TV could be until I was able to actually experience it. There's a whole new dimension of entertainment beyond viewing and its fun for more than one. The new remote is amazing coupled with the ability to use other devices like an iPhone to interface with Apple TV is really cool!

Got rid of cable and needed a streaming device. I considered roku, and others, but since I have an ipad decided to go with Apple tv. I love that I can cast websites from my ipad onto the tv. That being said, it's pretty easy to navigate within apple tv as the remote allows you to scroll along the alphabet as opposed to slowly arrow-ing through to type out what you want. Siri is also an option via this remote! Other services/apps also available - pandora, Netflix, hulu, etc which are also available on many other streaming products.

This is so much better than the last gen Apple TV. The remote is by far the best thing about it. It allows greater control of the user interface, using the onscreen keyboard is 10x faster, and with the couple of games I've tried, it responds a good bit like a wii remote. The App Store is a nice addition, although it's a little sparse right now. I do wish it had most of the apps from the older Apple Tv already on it, instead you have to download them all, which can take some time. Over all I'm very pleased with it.

I have previous versions of the Apple TV and this update is worth the upgrade. The Apple TV does not come with all of the pre-loaded channels like the previous versions and the interface is much cleaner and easier to operate. It not only give you the great features that you expect with the product but allows you to add a cheap gaming system to your home TV. Initial games are as good as stuff you would play on the Wii. The remote is a game changer and allows you to search via voice which is the future of TV viewing...

New apple tv is way better than previous versions. New designed remote with touch functions is really awesome. App store included

The new Apple TV is much better than it's predecessor with the ability to download apps. That however is also the current downside; there are not a huge variety of apps yet. I must say that is it fun checking in weekly to see if anything good pops up. A feeling that never happened with the old versions. Interface is smart and fast, and the remote works very well. If you liked the old apple TV it is already a good buy and if not you should check the app store in a few months and decide for yourself.

I was looking for a way to get streaming services on a non-smart tv and Apple TV surpassed my expectations. If your family as Apple products this is a must have. Love the remote, Siri feature for searching titles, the remote app for my iPhone, airplay mirroring to watch what's on your phone and the amazingly EASY set-up!!

The Apple TV was easy to set up and use. We didn't want to pay more monthly fees for an additional cable box, and this was a great option. We purchased two and placed them in our other rooms. We now have access to great HD TV. We mainly use it to watch the ESPN App. Many of the apps require an existing cable subscription, so if you don't currently have cable this won't be a good product for you, but for us it is great. Easy set up, easy to use, great remote, and no additional monthly fees :)

I got this mainly to share files from my new Retina Macbook to my TV because it doesn't have an HDMI port to plug directly into the TV. I use it for all of the new features it has like games, movie and television streaming, and for wireless file sharing from my computer to my tv. I would definitely recommend getting this if you are going to purchase the new Macbook with only a USB C port and even if you don't it makes it really convenient to not have to hard-wire your computer to your tv.

I recently purchased the lates 4th Generation Apple TV from Best Buy and it is amazing! The new tvOS is really fast and their are some incredible Apps available on the App Store. The Siri Remote is really convenient as well. I love using the "What did he/she just say?" feature. Also, another added benefit to the new Apple TV is Bluetooth Audio. I can pair up my Bose Soundlink headphones to it and not worry about disturbing others in the house when I want to watch something late at night.

The new interface is better. WiFi reception is better. Touch pad taker s a little getting used to but better than previous remote. Siri is great. Performance is about the same. Looking forward to more apps.
