Had the last Apple TV the new one was absolutely worth the upgrade. Easy to use Siri is a great addition and I am having fun with the games.

Love the upgrade. It was easy to switch from the older model to this model. Great having all the additional options and having u-tube back.

I haven't had any issues with the newest Apple TV. It's fast, searching for anything on there with the Siri remote works great! I'm able to watch my 700+ movies that I own in HD and the quality couldn't get better. It has a very user friendly interface unlike some other modules from Google or Amazon that you can buy. Their module interfaces are just hard to use. Which is why I have the Apple TV. We use it nearly every day for either playing music, watching our purchased TV shows for the season without commercials (available the day after the broadcast air date). You can also link your Netflix account, your HBO now account (which is an application that you subscribe to via Apple iTunes for approximately $15/month and you can watch HBO). You can even watch Hulu or many more unlisted media services. The nice thing is that there is a TV application at the top of the Apple TV interface that literally organizes all of your media content right there from all of the different media providers like HBO Now or Netflix. It allows you to resume where you were without searching, and allows you to see what new episodes have come out and watch them next. We couldn't be happier with this system.

Ease of use, Apple has done it again with their newest version of the Apple TV. Highly recommend to complete your home entertainment setup.

Super easy to set up. The new remote control is really great and easy to use. I'd definitely recommend the latest generation for the money.

Purchased for my father, who is 74 but does not act it. He was able to jump right into this since he had an Ipad and is familiar with Apple.

I love that it’s easy to use and supports 4k for a better picture. I love apple products as I’ve never had an issue with them.

Able to get all the apps I need on this and the control is a nice added touch I never had with all of the other set top boxes I have tried.

This device was really good for streaming devices and the gaming part seems be to awesome. The only drawback is that few channels are not in the list which I was looking for. Apart from that everything was cool about this device

This is my second Apple TV. This was an upgrade. I wanted to get more apps. I love it. I also love the newer remote, much easier to use and a little larger than the old one. Also like that you can speak so you can tell it what you are looking for, that is a very nice feature. All in all a great product. I don't think you can go wrong with Apple.

Love this device! I had the older generation Apple TV, so this was definitely worth the upgrade. Only negative, it doesn't support 4K yet.

Being primarily an "Apple" family, it was a no-brainer to give this product a go. I was so excited to be able to download apps for the newly opened interface, Siri integration, and to get my hands on the redesigned remote control! None of this has disappointed yet. I have two other previous generation AppleTV units on other televisions and I'm finding myself wishing they had the same capabilities as this one. There was one app that I downloaded right off the bat that I relied on AirPlay to view the content from my phone. Although it was workable, now that the on demand app is native to AppleTV, it's a joy to open if up and stream without making the AirPlay connection! The remote itself has also been a joy to use. The ease of scrolling using the touch pad makes getting around much easier. That combined with Siri commands to search for items and to perform some tasks make navigation a lot easier! Without me even programming anything, the remote also picked up my television to turn it off when I put the AppleTV to sleep as well as use the volume control straight from the AppleTV remote! Again, being part of the Apple family of products makes this a perfect addition if you want to integrate your television(s) into the fun. I would not hesitate picking this up if this would be your first one. The ONLY negative I had experienced, however, is that I dropped the remote and the touch pad area experienced a crack on it. Despite this blemish, the remote has continued to perform without problems.

Apple knocked it out the park again.. love the new AppleTV with the new interface.. though the method of inputing ones accounts is lacking..

I love that you can build this Apple TV from scratch with no pre loaded apps. The remote is sensitive but great because it's rechargeable!

I love the capability of adding apps to the Apple TV. The Siri remote battery seems to last a while, and you can recharge it vs batteries.

Super simplistic step up and gets the job done. Recommend it to anyone looking for a streaming player, even though that's not all it does.

This is the second one we purchased, this was for our bedroom after we began using the first one in our main TV room. We quickly learned we could not do without it! Our so-called Smart TV is actually quite limited and having Siri and being about to download apps is a critical feature for Gen 4. It's easy to install and use and the remote is excellent!

I have had many chances to try the product before buying at my job, but realized that the Apple TV 2 is excellent at many things. There are a couple things I wish it could do: 1. Have its own browser. While you can Bluetooth to either an apple computer, iPhone or iPad, it doesn't have its own independent browser for the Apple TV; which is okay. 2. Ultraviolet accounts and movie streaming is still only available through iTunes (not a problem as long as your movie supports downloads to iTunes). Having movies in Flixster and other streaming services will have to be done another way. 3. More games and ease for a controller. While you can buy a controller that connects to your Apple TV, it is hard to find games that are not racing that are up-to-date. Racing games are awesome on the Apple TV, but you really need a controller to fully appreciate it. Overall, I love the product and the ease of use over the old Apple TV. I feel like I would use this over a cable box. It connected easily to my Samsung Smart TV, and gives me more options for most things than my Apps store on the Samsung TV. Also, if you are an Apple person, this is a great purchase despite the high price.

I own a 3rd gen Apple TV which I still use an love, and this is just an even better version. Great remote, fast response, and AirPlay runs flawlessly. We cut the cord several years ago and now use the Apple TV almost daily. Tons of free content out there, but I recommend subscribing to Sling TV for an economical and decent replacement for cable.
