Apple TV is quick and easy to setup. It is also easy to use. No problems. This is the second Apple TV I've purchased.

Bought this around Christmas last year for myself and had previously owned a 2nd Gen Apple TV (720p) and gave that to my grandparents. We're used to having some apps, but now that developers can do more with them and bring in new experiences makes it great. Gaming isn't what you'd expect from an Xbox One or anything, but it is a nice extension from the sort of games you play on your phone already. My only gripe is that it's not 4K capable. That and to refresh YouTube reliably, you have to quit it and reopen it. They're improving it with updates, so maybe the latter will be addressed...4K won't until new hardware. I'd like more Siri commands to things like my Hue lights or thermostat. More HomeKit integration would be nice, since this is the hub for it all. Apple TV is the hub for geolocation use for home/away in HomeKit. 3rd gen or newer.

Overall, could not be happier with my purchase.. super easy to set up and use. Perfect for iPhone users.

I loved Apple TV when it first came out however it was time to upgrade and this is a the one I bought.

Night and day using this new remote w/mini track pad vs. the stick of chewing gum on the older Apple TV. Works great.

Great but NO 4K Streaming. Remote is has quick response specially with games.

We currently have 4 receivers with our U-Verse subscription, and the monthly cost is very high. We have now returned two of these, and are trying this Apple TV and Roku4. Both of them require we register and activate our cable/UVerse /program provider for a number of programs such as ESPN, PBS etc. Also, we can't get local programs unless we have a powerful outdoor HD antenna, not possible in our basement location. I like the Roku because of the much higher resolution than possible with Apple. Voice control may be an advantage for Apple, but I have not tried it much.

Great touchpad remote sound is good except goes high on commercials seems like all moves are in wide screen format didn't notice that on my Samung smart television or Roku box but overall I like it.

I really enjoyed my Apple TV and this is a really nice upgrade to the Apple TV lineup. It is so much faster and the remote is actually nice to use. I know some people complained about the design; but, I have no issues with it. Highly recommended.

If you're upgrading from Gen 3 it's definitely worth the upgrade for the touch remote alone! Love all the features.

We've got all apple products in our house and have had an an older version of the apple TV for quite some time. This version is a big step forward. The remote is much easier to use and you can download games, channels, apps from the store. I love it and have decided to put one of these on each of my TV's.

Big step forward from last generation apple tv's. Works just like your phone and the remote is perfect.

This is my second Apple TV device, as I also have the 3rd generation. The 4th Gen is considerably better as you are not limited to the pre loaded apps. The ability to expand/download new apps makes the 4th generation worth while. The Siri operated remote with volume control are also very nice additions.

Product was easy to setup and makes watching your favorite shows easy. One problem with the touch remote is accidental touching will cause unintentional interruption of programing.

Cancelled my cable tv and just gave my Apple TV. Apps are slowly being added but worth the upgrade from the 3rd gen

For someone who isn't electronics literate, this has made streaming very easy. Extremely happy with this purchase.

I use Apple TV to,access all television programming since I dropped my cable television service. Apple TV works great! I really like the touch remote that allows swiping and clicking like a mouse pad. The microphone Siri type command center also works well. The only reason for not giving it 5 stars is it seems to be slow n the wifi side. I have a high end router and great speed but Apple TV seems to freeze from time to time to spool data.

This little device is so easy to use and makes streaming anything to the tv really fast and convenient

best way to stream from phone or laptop to tv! it also controls volume on surround sound. too bad siri doesnt talk.

I have both the 64 and 32gb version and I use the larger one as my main unit and the smaller one for my kid's room. Easy to use out of the box and so much better than competing units, like Roku and Amazon. Apple is super easy to install and intuitive to use. Great remote and rechargeable with a lightning cable.
