Pros- everything nice, clear and crisp at 1080p - nicely integrated with IOS devices, airplay etc - powerful and usage is smooth - kids enjoying some of the motion games built for Apple TV - dat screensaver!! Cons - a little pricey. At this point in time around $100 would be better. - very few games made specially for this device and One gets the feeling appple not paying attention to developing software for this device.

I love the new interface. It's great to be able to use Siri to find shoes. And the 7.1 surround sound is great.

This is my second Apple TV I've purchased. This one is much faster and I don't see as much buffering as before.

Apple TV is easy to use, easy to set-up, and easy to watch. My 7 year old daughter can work it with no problems.

Great for watching Netflix and for mirroring my laptop for in home meetings. Seems snappy in responsiveness compared to the older models. Like the new remote. It's about time they updated that!

I love the upgrade. Siri, From my experience this far, is more accurate on my apple tv in vs the iphone 6 plus.

Needed to add an additional AppleTV to one of our TVs. Already had 4 of the previous models in use on other TVs. This model is bigger and has more features (gameplay, Siri, etc). Not sure we need these extras, but the device still accomplishes our use of watching Netflix and more important streaming our iTunes music and video media to our TVs. Only complaint is that Apple still hasn't come to an agreement to add Amazon Prime to this device.

Much better than the old Apple TV, with a more intutitive remote and many more apps to choose from. I do love many of siri's features like asking "what did she say?", but sometimes Siri just chooses not to work. And that's just frustrating. Also,some of the apps like Netflix and Hulu were far simpler and easier to use on the old tv, but I guess the new one does look more like the ones on other streaming devices. Oh and Mr. Jump is a lot of fun!

Perfect device for our upstairs TV (no console or DirectTV). Unlike the generation 1 AppleTV, you have access to the app store and are able to download the apps you actually want. The remote is also a nice upgrade from the original. Even if you have a smartTV, do yourself a favor an buy this!

Easy to setup, easy to use. Broadcasting from iphone and iPad in minutes. Other apps are a bonus.

This is my second apple tv. Have a Roku too, and enjoy the apple tv more. Easy to use, good options for apps.

I own 3 3rd generation Apple TV and this is a great improvement. I would definitely recommend and also purchase another one. The remote makes your tv experience a lot different than the norm.

Have both NV shield snd Apple TV. Both shine, if u pair it with infuse it turns into a home streaming device.

I'd really give it 4.5 stars. Accessing TV content is easy. Connects seamlessly with all my other apple products. A little pricey, but the cost of entry into Apple products.

While different than its predecessor the new Apple TV shares a lot of characteristics. The new remote is easier to use and features Siri for searching and gathering information. The ability to download the apps and content you want makes it more user friendly than the 1st, 2nd, & 3rd generation models.

I bought this to cut my cable bill. Now I stream from my phone or MacBook Air. Nice picture. I wish there was an app for Amazon Prime on the Apple TV but you can use the app on your phone.

The newest apple tv is a great update from the older one. The new remote is great and the pelt app is awesome!

I brought this item to replace my old Apple TV which was very good, but this one exceeds all my expectations

The Apple TV is an amazing device. Was a little disappointed that so may movies and TV shows have a price tag when I can get them at no cost on my IPad. Had to use AirPlay to play on my TV.
