I just upgrade my 3rd gen Apple TV with this new iteration And i have a mix feelings about this device, first the the new apple TV does not come with SPIDF port, it may not be a necessity for the majority but it is for the rest of us that use it to connect it to receivers and TV's, also I find its design to be ugly and somewhat bulky compare to the other versions including the first one, on the good side besides software is the possibility to use the HDMI CEC, so if you TV support it, you would be able to control your apple TV with Your TV remote.

This is my first purchase of the Apple TV. Finally decided to purchase this from Best Buy after a friend told me how well she liked hers. The salesperson was so nice & helpful in explaining how it worked & ease of use that I couldn't wait to get it home and try it out. Very happy I got this and would definitely recommend it to others. Love everything Apple! Thanks Best Buy.

I love the new touch pad and USB rechargeable. The apps are cleaner and Siri is the bomb! Still waiting for the Amazon Prime app, but at least I can cast from my iPhone and iPad. I don't use the Apple Watch app much but cool that I can.

It's a great new Apple TV... We love the new format. Simple & easy to use.

I went back and forth for a while on buying this - I'm glad I finally did. It's streaming and gaming in one. So easy to use and works with your other Apple devices. I love pairing with a game controller, AirPlay, and watching live TV on this.

All of the apps are great, including Pandora. The new remote is very nice.

These new generation apple TV's are great. They have made up for the lack of refreshes on them. The picture quality and the speed of the new ones is awesome! oh also did I mention 7.1 support!!!!! Which is awesome for me. if only they did 4K

Easy to use and wildly addicting. Use it for movies and shows all the time!

With the environment changing on how we watch shows an movies I purchased this as a gift for a family member. It's a great device but not as intuitive as older version of apple tv. Now you are forced to download the viewing apps you want rather than them being auto installed. Initial setup is quick and easy but then you have to search for apps you want i.e. Netflix, HBO NOW, ESPN, etc. You also need a subscription for most app. Why 4 stars? The ability, for me, to display Computer (MAC) screen or use TV as second monitor wirelessly is a big plus.

I love that they made this better than the first gen. Great apps of course.

I loved my old Apple TV and it finally has died. I love this new Apple TV because of all the new features that I was missing on my old one, like the updated remote with Siri and the search throughout all the apps at once on the TV

We upgraded one of our Apple TVs to this generation and it's well work the money. The voice command is actually very effective and just the remote alone is worth the change... throw the interface in there and you've got a winner.

Worth the upgrade. The gaming and the new remote make it worth the price.

This is better then the older ones and I really enjoy all the new features

Just waited to be on sale. Pricey than other media players, but worth it.
