This Apple TV is by far better then the previous Model. Excellent product

It basically makes my 8 year old Sony Bravia look like my brand new Samsung Smart TV. Only thing I dislike about it is the remote. I use Apple products daily and I just haven't gotten use to he remote still. A.) when on the night stand with only the TV on, reaching over without looking at the remote you have no idea which way it is pointing. B.) the track pad is very very sensitive. When placed in front of my fan, it will turn the tv and device on. I messed around with the sensitivity levels and nothing works. Overall great product though

With the 3rd gen ATV selling for only $69, this sounds expensive; but remember that (and the earlier models) were $99 (and I paid that). This 4th gen ATV costs 50% more than that. But there is a lot of value added. The new trackpad is a joy. Siri has so far understood everything I asked, and search results are nearly instantaneous. 32 gigs is plenty unless you are a hard core gamer. I loaded it up with everything that looked interesting so far in the new App Store, and I've only used 1.5 gigs, and that includes a game. You can also trash stuff later if you need space- stays in the cloud like the other app store. Setup was easy- uses the iPhone's wifi and other settings. BTW- for optimal performance, do whatever is necessary to use a hard-wired ethernet connection instead of wi-fi. The ATV is very fast, but only if your internet connection is also decent. I have some Parrot 2.0 bluetooth headphones, and they work great with the ATV4! You can also control your TV's volume easily with the remote, as it has an IR blaster now. The apps are great- all of the ATV3 apps are there, and you can pick and choose only the ones that are valuable to you. Airplay works perfectly. You can still access the iTunes content on your computer via Home Sharing, as well as your radio stations from before. The only pain is re-entering the verification codes for channels (now apps) that require them. There is PLENTY of eye-candy in the beautiful interface. The screensaver videos are excellent. This thing makes an older HD TV look and feel brand new (why do manufacturers waste time and $ coming up with "smart" features, most of which are horrible, when this box can do more better...) To recap: ATV4 is fast, smart, has plenty of storage, is expandable with the already well-populated app store, games, full-featured remote with Siri, has bluetooth, IR, and is a great easy-to-use viewing experience. To me that is worth the extra $50. No 4K? I don't care- content will take up too much bandwidth anyway. Bummed about Amazon Prime videos? Don't be. Play them on the ATV4 through your IOS device via Airplay until Amazon stops pouting and writes an App for the ATV (and then decides to sell them again. Buy from Best Buy anyway- Amazon doesn't deserve your business with their attitude IMHO)

Just as easy to use as the old Apple TV. The new features are nice. The new remote takes a little while to get used to, but once you do, its much better than the old remote. Of course, it works seamlessly with other Apple devices.

This is the 3rd Apple TV I've purchased. I am very pleased with the interconnectability with other Apple products and the ease of use. I tried an Android device with a newer model Smart TV but prefer the interface with Apple TV.

Great we use it for PlayStation Vue and Netflix all the time

Glad I upgraded my to the siri remote package. It's much easier to use.

The ability to use Siri, and play games makes this a no brainer upgrade.

This works great if you have other Apple products such as Mac or iPhone.

Product has not disappointed. Can view my iPhone Pictures, emails, and Things like Netflix on my large flat screen TV. Also many apps may be downloaded for sports, movies, etc. The Remote included provides great control, and Siri.

The new fourth-generation AppleTV does have a lot of wonderful ideas, features and a number of advantages. At the same time it can cause a bit of frustration because the implementation of those ideas and features are not quite up to par just yet. It will take some time to get used to the remote but more specifically some of the apps don't function well (Popular apps such as Netflix). To be fair some of those issues and problems when it comes to the new apps for the fourth generation Apple TV is the fault of the app developers. In time they should be able to work out the bugs, but they do exist. As far as the functionality of the AppleTV goes, I actually find a better and smoother experience with the previous third generation Apple TV. This fourth-generation one has to be restarted quite often to clear bugs or cobwebs. For example, using the back button or sometimes navigating and trying to enter an app is problematic. Sometimes you have to hit the remote "enter" multiple times for it to enter an app and other times it's simply non-responsive which requires you back out of the system altogether or do a restart. It does affect the user experience when the experience does not go so smoothly. Once you're actually using the app, playing your videos and such successfully I don't find very many issues other then the fast-forward and rewind feature sometimes being a little buggy (either not responding at all or requiring multiple tries to make it advance forward or backward). All in all I would say it is a good product but as it is new it requires a bit more polishing. Future software improvements should polish it and make it that much better.

Was a gift and it is much better than the early generations.

Easy set up , but I'm still working out how it all works. I have to go into settings and adjust for all my apple products to work with this.

I have an earlier version of the Apple TV. So I waited for the new model to go on sale before I bought it. I find the new remote with touch sensitivity to be useful. I also enjoy using Siri and being able to have games on the Apple TV.
