Still learning features but so far this greatest device I own

Ok. So 150 is a bit steep for a streaking device. But... It was soooo slick and easy to use. It integrated into my TV, WiFi, iTunes and Netflix all in about 5 minutes. Seriously easy to use. This just does what I want it to do. Access my now large(ish) iTunes library that I've been growing for 5 or 6 years. Watch all my favorite streaming services. even Amazon prime. Just play Amazon on your phone and stream it to the TV. And you can still use your phone. I'm not a techie guy that has to have the newest or most expensive toys. I like thugs that work they way they should and that's what the Apple TV does.

The product is fast and fluid and the touch remote works great. I was hoping by now there would be a lot more applications in the app store but its taking some time. The only apps I use are the ones published by tv content providers that only really work good if you pair it with your existing cable package. No twitch.tv app yet :(

great product to streaming my music in my vehicle.

I like apple products I’m writing this review on an iPhone and in all I love this thing great picture clear sound but it’s really annoying when you search for a movie and it comes back with the result to buy first from iTunes then whatever streaming apps you have installed but it won’t show it if you own it digitally, not even if you own it on iTunes. And there’s not a search function in the movies interface either so if you own more than 10 movies you have to just scroll endlessly until you luck into seeing it. Also you can buy a movie you already own in iTunes from a movie box code redemption. So picking a movie turns into an impromptu game of where’s Wally and oh no double check that I don’t already own Wally because I’d rather not spend almost the exact same amount as I could could on the blu ray and dvd and digital code as for just the digital movie by itself so I don’t have to put pants on if I already bought the movie but got sleepy from all the movie buying before I watched it then promptly forgot about the movie buying it in the first place

Good Unit - I love all Apple Stuff, but these are a little over priced - if that's OK, this unit is well worth it

Love everything about it except the remote. I like the idea of the touch pad but in practice it's kind of a pain. When you try to select something it, most of the times misses what you wanted, other times you can't get it to move. My biggest complaint about it is when it's on my night stand and I go to pick it up to pause Netflix or something your finger slides on the touch pad and will fast forward or rewind the show and you have to find your place again. Otherwise I love it over my old Apple TV.

I have been very pleased with the product, the easel set up and ease of use. The remote is intuitive and controls multiple devices. Absolutely awesome if you are one that utilizes the Apple family of products

I bought the new Apple Tv 4th Generation to hook up to my old Tv in my bedroom shortly after I had purchased a big new Sony 4K Tv for the living room. My reason was, the new Sony comes with Android Tv built in, so I thought it would be somewhat redundant to also attach an Apple Tv with that Tv set. But, I this allows me to compare the differences between Apple Tv and Android Tv: PROS The Apple Tv offers a far more simple, easier to navigate, better looking graphic user interface, and more advanced technology than the Android Tv. For example, you can drag apps into each other creating a folder and naming it just like you can with the iPhone and iPad. You have SIRI built into the very simple elegant new Apple Tv remote, as well. Both offer similar access to third party apps from their respective app stores, but Apple also gives you auto syncing with the rest of your Apple ‘eco-system’. So if you have a music collection on your Mac, or subscribe to video or audio Podcasts on the iTunes store, you can access them all and play them with your Apple Tv. Android has their versions of similar media, but navigating on the Tv to find them, and then searching and downloading them is very complicated. The new Apple Tv remote is simple and intuitive to use. The touch pad has a light touch and being very sensitive may take a little practice for some to master. But once you use it a while, it is very fast and intuitive. Apple has Siri built in, but it is for searching content, pausing, and going back in time for example, but not for inputting data to register third party apps. CONS Initial set-up with your Apple ID and password can be done via your iPhone or iPad, which is very helpful. However, subsequent setting up of third party apps takes quite a bit of time. Because you first have to move the cursor around (just like Android and other Tv OS) to input each letter or number of your password before being given a code to register that app, a code that you then have to input online via your computer, where you must register with that app’s service to enable it. So if you have a Time Warner account already associated with your Tv, then you must go through a lot of typing to use the associated app for the service you already have, such as Showtime or HBO. All other Tv OS interfaces make you do the same thing, of course. But I found this somewhat disappointing coming from Apple, because Apple TV has Siri built in, but doesn’t let you use it to register apps, which could save a lot of time. Maybe in a future update? IN SUMMARY: Apple Tv 4th generation is best in category. If you already use Apple devices and keep your content on a Mac or in iCloud, you should definitely get this to have it all synced together via wi-fi.

This is a nice upgrade from the previous Apple TV version. The remote is a huge improvement even if SIRI does not work with all apps, the touch pad and game controller work well so far. I wish it had 4k support.

The new Apple TV is great. The new remote is so much better

The search features are excellent, the voice command works well, and you can use your iPhone as remote with Remote app. The response is smooth and quick and the screen saver of cities around the world is first-rate.
