I have always been a big fan of the Apple TV. The only drawback is the remote. It takes some getting used to, but the old Apple TV remotes do work on it as well. Unless you are a huge fan of their games I would not purchase the 64Gb one. For those who never have had an Apple TV before, it is basically a streaming device which will stream stuff from the internet as well as from your iPod, iPhone, or iPad.

I struggled with this purchase because I am not that tech savvy and know there are less expensive alternatives. However, I have many apple products and know their reputation good and expensive but after talking with a number of people Apple has the most apps. Now initially that did not mean anything to me. But glad I went ahead and purchased. I am never at a loss of watching something. Only what to watch. I don't pay for cable!!! Yay, Apple TV was a wise choice for me.

I love that you can download a bunch of different apps, but I live the speaker button!!! It is so convenient to speak instead of typing. The picture quality is good.

Easy to set up and user friendly. I can't wait to get two more and cancel satellite tv!

It is an apple TV, It works as expected, better than the older apple TV for pic quality and screen saver uses siri but i wish they still made the older style

Easy to set up and delivers the best picture quality (assuming you have decent wifi. Plenty of apps to choose from. Excellent mirroring from your laptop/desktop

Despite its flaws, probably the best streaming device - user interface is really good with the exception of the process of entering user credentials for apps the first time - the alpha/number entry system using the remote is horrible. Why can't Apple figure out how to grant access tokens through a simple mobile or laptop web application? C'mon man! Still, way better than Roku, Amazon Fire, Chromecast.

Added this to my non smart tv in the bedroom and couldn't imagine going back to not having one. There are a ton of APPS available and it's super easier to navigate.

The performance and features of the new 4th Gen Apple TV is a major improvement over the Gen 2 unit that it replaced. I expected a better unit and I got it!

I love this unit! Simple and offers great features! This is entertainment flexibility.

Its nice however still no app that makes it the cord cutter that cable companies fear.

set up was easy and opens up a lot of options. doesn't do 4K though but by the time there is enough 4 K to worry about I will be ready for next generation

Finally after purchasing and returning Roku, Chrome etc finally found the perfect set up. Plus it basically extends my iPhone onto my 60"! Must get! Love it.

This version ofAppleTV has been updated and is way easier to operate. It is perfect streaming services and is great for iPhone/iPad displaying photos or videos.

I had a third gen, and decided it was time to upgrade. The interface is much easier to use. AirPlay still works great.

The Apple TV is great. It works well, and with the new App store, it is easy to get all of the "channels" that you want. Very good streaming option for anyone.

I was really excited for the new Apple TV. But so far I haven't used it no more than my old Apple TV. The current apps are ok. This thing needs a lot more time for the apps to catch up. The only thing I really like is the new Siri remote. And I don't care for 4K

I really like the AppleTV because it's faster than the previous AppleTVs. The new TVOS and the ability to use Siri to query for my favorite TV shows and movies.

I was a going to get this and an xbox or other media device, but in all honesty, for a college kid, this is plenty! easy set up and plenty of apps for everything!
