Cons: 1. Missing YouTube similar video recommendations. 2. Down button "partly forwarding" is missing. 3. No change in Video quality Pros: 1. Apps installation and games are a good option. 2. Remote works from anywhere and it works with my sony tv remote without any configuration. (But there is a power start initiation issue with tv remotes). If you have apple 3 it's worth waiting for the next new version.

A very good upgrade from the previous apple TV model. especially if you like simple short gaming. This will get even better over time, when new updates roll in.

This mach ine is amazing. Easy to use and it has Siri. Can't imagine my love without it and Ba Ba Booey.

I had the older version of Apple TV and it worked great as well. I placed the old Apple TV in the bedroom and the new one in the living room. The voice command on the new one works great. You really would not need cable at all with these apple devices. Chose the 32 GB over the 64 simply because it was cheaper. Doubtful that I'll store that much anyway as you have Hulu, Netflix, YouTube and other apps that you can access without having to download.

Apple has finally upgraded their Apple TV product and has really hit the mark. The addition of apps and improvements in storage and software makes this one of the best media players available today.

Replaced our Apple TV 3 in the living room with this guy. Runs smoothly, needs more apps and support for it though. Hopefully better things are to come for this device to reach it's full potential.

I've had an Apple TV for years and didn't know if the update was worth the money. When it went on sale, I decided to try it and it was definitely worth the money. There are so many more features that the new Apple TV has in comparison to the older Apple TV. I can watch channels I couldn't before. I can use apps from the Apple TV instead of just having the Apple TV mirror my iPad. And the features are continuing to grow. Definitely worth the upgrade.

The new version of the appletv is fantastic, love the new remote, the new interface and Siri works great!

My family already are in the iTunes universe so this was an great extension to our experience. I have a bunch of digital movies so streaming is fast and simple. The only thing I wish is that there was a safari option. I can do the mirror of the phone on the screen but wish it was just on the Apple TV

Use at cabin where TV signals are not available but we do have wifi. This product allows us to mirror image our phones. I do not like having to log in to every ap or to search for aps. Pre installed would be nice but the product works great if you do not have access to standard tv

i love my new apple tv - it's a great addition to my apple collection. Much better than the first one.

lots of additional features compared to the previous model. the remote also does not get lost as easily :)

I have an atv2 I was using it for AirPlay an I was using Kodi with jailbreak. But the configuration was very old and Kodi doesn't built any version for atv2. So I bought this for a jailbreak hope

I have had an Apple TV for the past several years. This new version is a nice upgrade with the Siri remote and apps you can download. It is very heavily tied to the Apple environment, so if you don't have iPhone or iPads, you might be better with a Roku or Fire. It's definitely missing Amazon Prime apps for it, but you can stream those from your iPad or iPhone. But it works well with iTunes (we have a bunch of movies on there) and Netflix.

Wanted to add the new Apple TV to my home theater so I picked up this model. Packaging was nice and setup was easy. I have downloaded several apps already and can't wait to start watching movies. The voice command works well with the remote. Really excited to learn all the things this product can do.

With over 500 new apps being added each week Apple leaves the competition in the dust! The game controller is a must have to boot! Oh and controlling the Apple TV with my Apple Watch is awesome!!!

This is an excellent product for home entertainment. With the addition of the App Store, the capabilities of the Apple TV are vast. Bluetooth controller support allows you to play many of your iOS mobile games on your TV. Some games are possible with the included touch enabled remote, but I wouldn't recommend it. And with the forthcoming Amazon Video and Vudu/Ultraviolet video support, the Apple TV is about to become a lot more useful!

My Apple TV 3 needed to be replaced due to hardware issues. The new 4th Gen Apple TV came out just in time. Everything is great about the new Apple TV except you can't use Siri while using YouTube

As always Apple is easy to use and this has Siri, but you have to push a button rather than speaking for it to start listening, didn't like that. Good product, just wish Siri was voice operated.
