The new Apple TV works exactly as advertised. The coolest functions are that you can use the remote to play video games (which you can download from the App Store) AND that you can search for anything using the Siri button. I personally hate using Siri on my iPhone & iPad but on my Apple TV it works great. Additionally the touchpad on the remote is easy and fun to use. Overall it has made my viewing experience more pleasurable.

Perfect companion to my iPhone, Macbook Pro, and iPad. I love the ability to stream all my music and movies I have purchased on iTunes in the past. Many free great apps. The remote is fantastic, full of features for navigation, yet simple. Nice way to get rid of cable finally.

I was looking for a Christmas gift to get my self and I ended up getting the Apple TV after looking it up on line and the info. was great and I liked what it had to offer and made sure the store near me had some and went that day and picked it up and I am very happy with it. I have Netflix and Hulu Plus and was using my PS3 to watch them and now use my Apple TV, it's a hole lot faster and Siri is fun to play with and helpful

So far, I have been extremely impressed with this Apple TV. This new one has the ability to do much more. You have the ability to program the volume buttons on the new remote to your TV or Surround Sound system. There is now an app store and siri. When your apple tv sleeps, it shuts your TV off with it. My favorite thing is that you can play any video format through the VLC app, which has worked flawlessly. The only reason I am giving this 4 stars is because the remote does not have an off/hold switch. I am constantly bumping my remote by accident and pausing, fast forwarding, and rewinding which can be frustrating.

This 4th generation is much improved over the previous generation. The ability to add the Apps that suit the user's preference is a big plus. The touch pad remote and the inclusion of Siri make navigation easier and faster. One drawback is the horizontal searching input method is bit clunky and could be improved. This redesigned streaming media device by apple should only get better as new firmware and apps are released.

Make sure u update your Apple TV when you first get it. I was freaking out because it was slow and acting weird for me but then I updated it and wow big difference :D great product by Apple. This is my /bad apply tv I had the first gen and it was time to upgrade. So happy I did!!!

I've had Apple TV ever since it first came out, like it, so decided to upgrade and glad I did. The remote is much better and using Siri to find movies and shows is GREAT.

Controller is much better. Easy to setup and start using in 5 min. There are a few times where I get an error when watching Netflix. I select OK and the error goes away.

Love it, easy to use and set up. The Siri and touch are great added features to this product.

Airplay, apps, siri, and more. A great tv box that works wonderfully with the apple ecosystem. As apps improve and software develops, the experience will only get better

Coming from a 3rd gen. Apple TV, the leap in general quality it's pretty nice . The interface is very smooth and easy to use. The remote is very small but very useful. Games are easy and entertaining, and apps in general are very polished and well made. Highly recommended.

Had an old Apple TV, been waiting for the App Store plus Siri. Definitely worth the upgrade.

I did extensive research when selecting a streaming box. I looked at the NVidia Shield and FireTV also. Since Apple has upgraded the Apple TV to include the App store and also including a collection of movies in iTunes I decided on the Apple TV 4. I have been happy with the apps available exept for wanting Amazon instant video. It will also be nice if my cable provider Mediacom had an app to acess my channels on.

Wow. I got this on a whim as a last minute christmas gift for the family. Mostly I was excited about the feature to ask Siri, "What was that?" and it will jump back the video and turn on Closed Captioning. I found it to be great with the new ability to add apps to it. I have stopped using our Roku completely now that I can use Plex and the AppleTV has a superior interface and menu setup. Oh and there are games.
