This device provides seamless integration for all things Apple / internet apps with your TV through WIFI home network. The primary objective of a screen mirror for newer model IPhone and IPad was easily achieved; the 2010 MAC required the additional on-line purchase of the Air Parrot 2 app to achieve functionality. In addition to Apple sponsored services, all other internet services are available to turn a non-smart into a smart TV.

Bought this and thought it was great! Tried to turn on for the second time and unit started an update. After several minutes of seeing no progress on the screen, I tried to reboot. This caused the whole unit to crash. I had to buy a special cord in order to hook up to my computer to restart unit. Annoying that apple would require the special cable to "diagnose/service" the unit. Once I got the unit restarted, everything was running smooth.

The latest Apple TV offers quite a few stream options. DirecTV Now, Netflix, and HBOgo all work great. However the value is not here. No 4k could be a huge deal breaker for some. The single biggest problem is the remote. The touch section is simply not as intuitive as physical buttons. It's so frustrating I would have returned it if it wasn't free.

I have always been an Apple TV user but held off on the new model due to the cost. The changes aren't as substantial as I expected, as I don't play games or anything, but the ability to download 3rd party apps is huge for us. My only complaint is the remote just isn't that great. It is an improvement over the previous gen remote, but still not as good as the Roku remote and the touchpad is more annoying than helpful.

there are lots of other products out there that do everything the apple tv does and much more for far less money. i bought this for a client that only wanted to project their apple products onto their television. the airplay feature makes this the easiest option for apple users ... ie those people that use their computers as toasters, not as tools.

Purchased as a second box for bedroom TV. 32 GB is plenty of storage space unless you are a serious gamer. Best user interface of any streaming box out there. Streams uncompressed PCM audio when available which sounds incredible on a good home theatre sound systen.

I love the Apple TV 4. We have 3 in our house and use them for Directv Now, Netflix & HULU. We cancelled our cable and save tons. Apple TV works flawlessly and is also great for sending video or audio from your phone or iPad to the TV and/or stereo. Best Buy had a discounted price as well.

We do a lot of streaming with Netflix and HBO now and this product is fast and easy to operate. My mom really doesn't like new age stuff but she loves this apple product, she did state that she wishes the remote was a little bigger and or had a locator on it just in case she miss placed it

With multiple streaming devices available, the Apple TV (4th Generation) totally outperforms the rest. With tvOS, the availability of the number of streaming services has increased drastically. The integration with Apple devices is excellent. The voice remote/siri works extremely well.

I have the 2nd generation and we wanted another device for mobility for traveling with the ability to download media. This was a good option. It's still the same device as the previous generations in my opinion just an added bonus of drive space. I love them fluidity of Apple products.

Love the technology, truly a good fit ever wanting to get away from cable TV. I only wish I could’ve purchased this before signing a two year contract with DirecTV. I’ve lowered my directed me to the minimum service and look forward to canceling out within the next year and a half

Remote is easy to use and navigation is simple. We purchased this model Apple TV to run Sling TV.

My son is so happy because is easy to manage he can control everything on the TV games movies etc

We are a cost conscious household and have transitioned to OTA and steaming. The 4th gen AppleTV with TV-IOS is perfect, because we can download the apps we want. Plus, the Bluetooth remote is perfect, since my husband, the neat freak, could completely conceal the puck and wiring.

I have a ROKU, Fire TV, they don't offer as much as the new generation of Apple TV. Apple got it mostly right with this revitalized version, taking a step up from their too basic past and decided that the future of TV involves apps, lots of them. I would suggest 4K compatibility for a future add.

I've been using Apple products and TV for a long time now. Recently I decided to upgrade and get the newER tv which was the best idea ever. I'm so satisfied with this purchase. Everyone from Best Buy is wonderful too. They always make sure I leave happy and satisfied with my purchase.

I am Pro Anything APPLE product! They just beat the competition and are top of the line. People complain about pricing but you get what you pay for and their Apple Care team will fix any problem and retrieve any documents lost! Apple TV is great and I wish I had one for every room!

Has more and more games by the day. Everything works flawlessly. Way better than the older versions.
