This is a great upgrade from the original Apple TV. Being able to pick and choose what apps you want to download is great. It's a lot more user friendly and can definitely help ease the process of the cutting the cable TV cord.

Only complaint it doesnt support 4k. Other than that works fine.

I had the old Apple TV and really enjoyed it, decided to upgrade once I heard there were new apps available on the new one. It is such a great device to have, user friendly and so many options to choose from to customize it.

Good product.. the Apple remote is very good ... good for games

I had a 3rd gen Apple TV, it was good, but even better with Siri, and an easy glide track pad. I did not like the buttons on the 3rd gen remote, also the battery. This new one has lighting charging cable included to charge the remote.

Trying to live stream is disappointing because internet speeds slow down and picture drops

the mirroring option native between apple products made it a first choice for me. The lack of channels (no Amazon TV as of 05/2016) is a serious problem but again I just mirror it seamlessly from my iPhone...Overall a Roku 3 does a better job for much less money and unless you need to play itunes movies or certain websites it's not worth the extra expense

Use this as our main source for watching TV and has worked well.

Good improved over the last version, there is room for improvement

I am over all happy with my purchase but there is a slow down in the speed of my iPhone when I use the airplay mirroring. It gets so slow that I have to turn off mirroring and turn it back on when I have picked content I want to mirror. Still in my opinion it is a very good product and worth the price. If you own a iPhone you need a Apple TV.

Even though I am totally useless when it comes to technology, I was able to install and have this working in minutes. Primarily, I want it to mirror my iPad which then allows me to watch movies on big screen. I did and still do have a problem, sometimes the Air Play feature drops out or the movie becomes fragmented, not sure if it is this unit or my wifi.

I have a Fire tv and an Apple tv. I like the simplicity and layout of the Apple tv, but the navigation controls can take some getting used to. I'm not really a fan of the trackpad style controller. if I pick it up to move it, half the time I end up switching channels or bringing up a menu. It is a great product, just the remote bothers me a bit.

Apple TV has always been a good deal, but now they've made it even better by allowing you to download only the apps you want. Plus you can also download games. Definitely worth it.

I'm an admitted Apple fan boy so of course I chose this over the Amazon, Google, or Roku. It works flawlessly and I love that it has more options and apps available than the original (which I also own). 10/10 would buy again

Connects right to your phone and you can play your music all directly on your tv and anything that you purchase on iTunes is right on your tv, you can get any tv app and watch shows the same day or the next. So satisfied with my choice!

I have many movies and TV Shows in iTunes and on my Plex server. This new Apple TV streams these as well as NetFlix very well. It also handles the new StarZ streaming service well.
