I've had the older Apple TV for awhile to supplement my other TVs that don't have the $10/month cable boxes attached to them (garage, home office, kids rooms). For basic viewing, they've worked well though it can be buggy sometimes (playback stops, audio not synced with video, etc.). This newer version of Apple TV improves stability, but it still can stop playback for no reason, or sometimes it'll loop commercials without playing content. There's more capability built in for games, but I really just bought it for more stability in playback on ESPN and Netflix. I can't say I've been impressed with the gaming capability or the newer apps; but maybe future apps will show off what the Apple TV was meant to be.

I always use apple products. So it came at no suprise that I bought the new Apple TV. I love the new Siri option and the way the scrol pad effortlessly Moves is impeccable. A great product for everyone.

I recently cancelled my cable and went with a streaming service. I bought the Apple TV in order to access the streaming service. I have a bunch of other Apple products, and they all integrate nicely. I can stream everything from one place.

This Apple Tv works great. Video streaming connection seems stronger then last gen, with improved internet antennas on this model. The remote is intuitive and easy to use to navigate the interface. Would recommend for anyone integrated in ios and apple services.

Had been waiting for an upgrade to my original AppleTV and they have done a great job. The remote is sleek and easy to use and with the App Store you can finally pick and choose exactly what you want without it being cluttered with apps you will never watch!!

So I'm a big Apple products fan and this is my third Apple TV. Performance is excellent, setup is very easy but I still think the remote needs work. It is a big improvement over the previous generation and the Siri voice functions are very useful. But it's way too easy to bump the touchpad accidentally while reaching for my drink next to the remote. And just bumping it can have very unexpected consequences. I also think they need at least one more button - a dedicated mute button. Now I just have to complain a little about how the tvOS handles searching for the latest episode of a TV series you have already bought the whole season of. Come on, Apple, really! Why do I have to search for the series like I've never purchased it before to get the latest episode? Why doesn't it show up under the Purchased section. Frustrating!!

I love this upgrade. Being able to have apps is awesome. I'm not a huge game player, so I don't own any of the larger gaming systems. This allows me to play games now and then. Plus, I love having HomeKit on the device. Great update from my second gen AppleTV.

Love this device. We have had problems connecting our iPad with an HDMI cord and the special Apple adapter to stream Netflix or Hulu. With the Apple TV, it's like smooth sailing. Everything is at your finger tips and it's super fast, too. Highly recommend.

Such an upgrade from the previous generations. Access to the App Store is awesome. Interface is smooth, intuitive and the remote is very easy to use.

I purchased my new 4th Generation AppleTV and have been very pleased beginning as soon as I opened the package. Well designed, small, and very intuitive to use. I was able to set it up and add in my network and account info in just a few moments. I also have an original AppleTV and notice the huge improvement in video signal and range of extras available. Between this and my over the air channels, I have a total package that exceeds my local cable option for really a one time fee (the cost of the unit is less than one month of the cable service). Buy one!

I've owned appleTV for years (gen 1 and 2). I eventually jail broke the 2nd gen appleTV to get better features. I didn't bother with the 3rd gen because there wasn't a jail break available for that model. But this 4th gen needs no jail beak upgrades. It's the real deal top of the line set top experience. And if you live in the Apple ecosystem you will not be disappointed with how easy it is to setup and use very quickly. They got it right this time! Streaming from iPhone, iPad, iPod, or Mac has never been easier. So simple even my wife can use it (just kidding honey)!

This is a great product. Love the air drop feature. The remote control is very wonderful too. Love the track feature where you just move your finger. You can skip ahead or behind by 10 seconds if you move it right or just scroll forward or backward faster.

This is a gray upgrade from the original AppleTV. The trackpad on the remote is smooth and very intuitive. The software interface needed a refresh and the current Software is a breathe of fresh air. The aerial screen savers are fantastic and breathtaking.

Great picture. Thinking about ditching my satellite Dish subscription! Easy to navigate, plus responds to voice commands!

I felt like this purchase was a great upgrade from a 3rd Gen Apple TV. I don't own a current gaming system and would consider myself a casual gamer so the addition of the App Store was awesome..

Very satisfied with this product and my local BBY availability the day of launch! Product works as advertised and there is tons of potential with new tvOS apps and Apple's ecosystem. Just had a software update and has great new features. Would recommend.

I had previously been accessing apps using a wii and Apple tv is much faster and easier to use. The Airplay feature is very easy to use to watch content from an Amazon Prime account. It is also easy to access content like music from other mobile devices.

Overall I like the new remote and able to download apps from the App Store.

I bought the Apple tv because of my iTunes collection. Finally being able to watch my iTunes movies on tv was a big factor in buying this device. It streams perfectly,also being able to listen to my music collection is a +. When you first connect your Apple tv you will need to update right away under the settings section. If not you will start to run into problems, such as getting booted out of the app store. Being able to access your pc for pictures,movies,and music is also a +. Mostly any app you need you will being able to find here. Great Purchase

I haven't gotten the chance yet to use all of the new features, but it's definitely improved from the previous generation. The remote is great. It would be nice if there was direct access to Amazon Prime, but I believe you can use the Airplay feature from your phone or computer to get around that.
