Not all improvements are better than previous versions. Even after adjustments and the learning curve the touch function is jittery, overly sensitive and sometimes frustrating. Faster and more powerful with a new layout this version is an improvement over past models, but still lacks in perfection.

The newer generation Apple TV is much more user friendly. The remote is still small and easily misplaced (especially with kids around), but the added buttons make it a lot more functionable.

I am sure everyone who buys one of these either knows what it is or has researched it online. It absolutely is an upgrade from the old apple tvs and I would absolutely buy more as needed.

I absolutey love this thing. I got two for each room and canceled cable. Now I have sling. Only thing i wish is that there was a way to get local channels. But it’s the best.

The Apple TV is outstanding. I would highly recommend this to anyone that likes to watch programs without expensive cable and monthly plans. Purchasing from best Buy just makes it even better.

It's a great device, but if you're thinking about upgrading from the generation 3 device, is stick with the old one. It didn't seem like there was enough of a difference to spend more money when I had a perfectly good Apple TV at home.

It's better then the last two versions and the remote is way more functional. Two issues are the remote is really touchy if you so much as graze it you will be taken to the input that is connected to the Apple TV. Second issue is it tends to freeze up or lose connection more then anything I am running.

Wanting to trash Cable TV I reached out to the Apple TV, the upfront price was the cost of two months of Cable. Consequently, definitely accomplished my goal of reducing costs. Caution as if you are a sports fan or want Netflix, Hulu, HBO, etc monthly subscriptions are required by most networks.

I was using an older AppleTV with older software on it. did not think this newer AppleTV would be that much better, but I was wrong. This is a great device and I would recommend it to anyone.

I purchased the Apple TV so my parents who are not techies could FaceTime using the television. The initial hookup is pretty simple. My parents are able to setup a Face Time call easily. This has made for a lot of fun talking with their grandkids. The only reason for 4 stars is the price.

After reviewing many products, we decided to settle on the Apple TV. The Apple TV has been a great solution for watching programs through the internet. It has been very reliable and quality good.

I love that I can sync my iPhone to the Apple TV so I can watch TV anywhere. The only thing I don't like is the remote. It's difficult to pick up without hitting rewind or some other button. Otherwise, it's a great product. We cut the cable and are no longer paying outrageous cable prices.

Apple TV 4 was an excellent upgrade from apple tv 2 and 3. interface is clear and easy to navigate. siri remote is awesome. great picture on my samsung 4k tv even though not a true 4k picture.

My family and I are new to streaming... with this device we were able to unbox and start streaming in 20 min... Most of the electronics in my home are Apple so it was an easy transition..

Another toy for grown ups. Love that I can beam my phone to my TV and control content from my phone. Would buy one more for my game room

I have the FireTV and this Apple TV and I'm glad I have both. I like the mirroring feature from my iPad, while FireTV doesn't mirror with Apple devices. I think it's worth having if you own other apple products, but if you don't, the FireTV is better and the remote is more user friendly.

I cut the cord and only stream TV. It saves me approximately $80/mo. after I discontinued Comcast. I especially like the compatibility with the iPhone, Mac, and iPad.

I only have access to DSL service, so only use the Apple TV to connect our IPads and IPhone to my Sony TV through Airplay. The wireless connection works well, but the videos sometimes take a while to load. This is my second Apple TV purchase. The first one was zapped by a power surge.

This is my go to media player for all things Netflix, iTunes and Plex!!! Smooth and seamless playback and I would recommend this to everyone. Only negative is where is the Amazon Video love?
