I replaced an older Apple TV with this new model. I have been very happy and use it to stream Netflix, listen to music from ITunes, buy movies, watch YouTube, etc. the new remote takes a little getting used to but the touchpad works like an Apple mouse and is a big improvement. The voic search is very helpful. Streaming is good and I even think my picture quality is better.

This is a great product especially for college kids who does not want to pay for cable TV. Easy to hook up and use. Got it as a gift for my niece and she loved it.

The new AppleTV is easy to use and has a great App Store. My household no longer has cable tv service but has this instead to access most of the shows we like on-demand. Plus,,there are other useful apps and even games - ALTOS ADVENTURE is a fun time waster.

I have had a apple tv old version for awhile and this upgrade is much easier to use and the way it works is very easy

Very easy to hook up. Picks up programming very easily. Connects to all apple devices seemlessy. Very sensitive remote would be my only complaint.

The new Apple TV was easy to set up. I especially enjoy the Netflix app. The picture and sound quality are good. The remote with the touch pad and Siri are great!

It has been a great addition to my home, I have been able to cut down on my cable and just use the Apple TV and my computer for local news. I am Glad I got this

The new Apple TV is fantastic! The older version buffered all the time. This new version works better and faster and has more features. We definitely recommend.

The newest generation of Apple TV is a game changer! Pardon the pun! Very cool, easy to use and set up. I have a friend who is blind- she loves it! Thanks Apple!

At first I found it difficult to use the touch pad but quickly adjusted to it ,plus using Siri to find a show to watch is so much easier then typing in search.

I used to have to previous generation of the Apple TV and worked well. I definitely love the fact that I can speak which app to open (like Netflix or Hulu) instead of clicking several times to do that. Also, speaking "rewind 90 seconds", for example, and it doing it reliably. I was mostly excited about it giving me great suggestions about movies upon request, but although it sort of does, I haven't really found that capability that useful since the suggestions are so so. The one thing great is that, if you know the title of the movie, it tells you all the places where it's available (like on the Apple Store, on Neflix and/or Hulu). That way, if it's available on the Apple Store and Netflix, I can quickly watch a preview on the Apple Store and if I like it, I can quickly open it on Netflix. So, overall great! But, it somehow didn't blow my mind as I was expecting :)

This is a clear revamp for the classic apple TV, adding a much more comfortable and versatile remote control and the ability to download and run applications as games and such. The price makes you think it twice, but it's OK for a Christmas or bday gift.

I had the original Apple TV for a 5+ years and I finally decided to upgrade. Easy to use, awesome applications, extremely easy set (with another apple device).

We love it, has amazing futures that the first Apple TV didn't have, my wife and kids love the fact that you can view everything from your phone & computer...

The new interface looks great. But like all other Apple products... they cut corners in order to make a profit. The optical audio port is now removed which is a bad idea in my opinion since you can no longer plug a good pair of speakers straight into the Apple TV to just Airplay music without using the TV. The wired ethernet port still remains which is weird since the speed is slower than the WIFI module included in the device... The buttons on the remote is oddly placed. There are not that many useful apps yet so I'm waiting to see this device's full potential.

This version is the best as it has added feature of games, more apps. Kodi adds more beauty in it. I m loving it.

I originally had the 3rd generation and it worked just fine. I only upgraded to the 4th generation bc it was compatible to use with Schlage Home Sense. However, I am really happy i upgraded. the remote is MUCH more user friendly. The system allows you to type on your mobile phone or talk into the remote. I am very happy with my purchase and am upset that i didnt get it sooner.

This is a very convenient and user-friendly product. We use it very exclusively now that we have completely cut cable, and stream 100% of everything we watch.

I had an older generation Apple TV but found it tedious to use because of the on screen keyboard. This newer generation integrates with Bluetooth to my IPhone and turns my phone into a remote so I can use the phone keyboard to type in searches. It also has a voice button on the Apple TV remote allowing me to speak titles to movies. Very easy to use now and highly recommended!

Even if you own a previous model, it is worth the upgrade. The remote is a vast improvement over the older model.
