An Exceptional Upgrade

It's faster, more user friendly & has a host of new features that'll make your life in it's use so much more convenient. A definite recommend to anyone interested in the future of television.

Great for all in one

Fast and a lot more easier on my smart tv that seemed be overwhelmed from streaming constantly. If you're an apple person you will enjoy this product.

Great for entertainment

Now we bought the Apple TV and the 4th gen is really awesome. It is so much faster than the Roku. I love that I could enjoy hearing my mucus, watch movies and etc. I really love that the apps are all built in.

Good upgrade, lots of potential. But...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really like this product and enjoy what it has to offer from giving access to music, to Netflix, HBO, etc and some of the games thus far. I think this has a lot of potential for gaming in the future too. The biggest complaint is the password entry mechanism...you definitely would want to put your password restrictions on for in app purchases, itunes and rentals....the problem is that it is extremely cumbersome to do so. You are basically manually scrolling to each character for your PW and there is no easier way to do it as the Apple TV does not interface with any bluetooth keyboards. Hopefully this will be something that they fix moving forward.

Future of Television

The apps are well designed, and the remote is very intuitive. Much like your tablet/phone most apps do require a cable provider, but there are newer month-to-month options like Sling TV or PlayStation Vue to help out.

Great alternative for cable
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A lot of my friends and family have AppleTV so I decided to get one of my own. So far, I am the only one with this model of AppleTV and I couldn't be happier. I'm gradually getting to the point where I am heavily considering canceling my cable service since I mostly utilize my AppleTV. I can enjoy my music, TV shows and movies through my surround sound system using just 1 or 2 devices (my MacBook if I'm multitasking or just my AppleTV ).
