I upgraded from my 1st generation Apple TV 4k. I wanted to set up a Thread network and needed a hub. So I purchased this Apple TV (Wifi + ethernet). New Apple Tv is much more responsive. The Thread network is great. My smart devices that were losing connection on Wifi are perfect on Thread.

Amazing device. It’s what we use to stream all of our content. New remote is great too!

As advertised. Great 4k media center that has everything you need. My only complaint is that it does not play the first 5 seconds of every YouTube video. Small complaint though, everything else is great.

It’s an Apple TV and works fantastic. Great streaming video and audio quality. Netflix is quirky on it about tagging movie with Dolby Vision and Atmos. I have a Samsung tv and it says Dolby Vision, which we know Samsung doesn’t have. Oddly, the audio comes out as Dolby Atmos.

The new Apple TV 4K is the best one yet! I’m a huge fan, I may never go back to the dish.

Easy to use. Remote is cool, I like the swipe features for fast forwarding through shows.

This is the 3rd Apple TV I've owned/. One of each generation and they keep on improving. This one is not a quantum leap over Gen 2 but it is cheaper, faster and has more storage. Happily I Wass able to sell my Gen 2 for decent return on ebay.

We used to use my gaming console for streaming shows until we bought this Apple TV. Noticed a difference in streaming quality and most of the apps run better on this than my Playstation. Outperforms just about any smart tv as well so happy with the purchase.

purchased 11/4/2023 4K (third generation) release 10/2022, my last apple tv was from 2017. this 3rd gen is lighter, doesn't feel as heavy, not always a good thing, since this device can be moved around easily by the cables. remote has better features, although not always easier to use. amazing apple gave more options. tvOS is much smoother on this model. it's a good value since my other android version is 2019 still working amazingly. quality feels a bit less since it's so light (the box is light, the remote is good and heavy). not used to apple letting me have so many options in the menu, it's confusing. I'll get used to it... :)

So far I am enjoying the apple tv 4k. I like it but I do also really like the nvidia shield tv pro. I have both and use both daily for the same thing just in different rooms of the house. The shield is more responsive.

Apple Tv is the perfect product. Beautiful interface.
