Full disclosure I have been on the “Fire” bandwagon for years. For the longest time they have been a great bang for your buck. But over the last couple of years they have weighed down their devices with bloat-ware and with their most recent updates, ads. As a result it has made their devices buggy and almost unusable at points. So I finally decided to make the switch to the “Big Apple” and here is what I can say. It just works. Video quality is on point and so is the audio quality. I launched an app and almost fell over how fast it loaded. Honestly if you are looking for device recommendation order as of today it would go “Big Apple” then the simple yet efficient Roku and finally the “Fire” world. Maybe if “Fire” can remove the junk it can be great again, but I am not holding my breath.

The Apple TV 4K delivers a premium streaming experience with stunning picture quality, Dolby Vision and Atmos support, and a smooth, fast interface. The Siri Remote is sleek and responsive, and integration with other Apple devices is seamless. While it’s pricier than competitors like Roku or Fire TV, it’s perfect for those deep in the Apple ecosystem who value performance and build quality.

The remote is very high quality and works way better than the top of the line Samsung remote. The Apple hub easily ties in with everything and is essential when setting up a smart home. Most people think this is just Apple TV and a remote. It is not. It’s the entire brain to your smart home.

Simply the best, takes your TV up 10 notches, Apple interface is always issued friendly and pleasing to the eyes, remote is super responsive. Apple updates it all the time and now you can FaceTime using phone and tv in unison. The standby mode picture gallery is like looking out a window it’s soo clear

I’ve been using the Apple TV 4K for a while now, and it’s one of the best streaming devices I’ve owned. Setup was clean and simple — just plug it in, connect to Wi-Fi, and it instantly synced with my Apple ecosystem. If you use iPhone, iPad, or Mac, the integration is seamless: AirPlay works flawlessly, and your Apple ID + App Store apps show up right away.

Bought to replace an older AppleTV and hookup to my receiver/surround sound system. I prefer the AppleTV for my TV content over using the TV's OS. Phenomenal picture, sound, and streaming speed. I bought the 128 gb model not so much because of the storage (which I'm sure I'll never come close to filling) but because of the option to hardwire it to my router with ethernet.

Apple TV is better than it ever was. This version I had to buy because I assumed the previous 4K Apple TV had facetime calling. Not the case. That's been added to this one and I sold my old one. I've been perfectly happy with this APPLE TV but it's much lighter than past versions. This might make it move around more easily on the counter. But that's not a big deal. The new remote takes a little getting used to. I'm used to the buttons being in different places. But it is a very high quality remote and I'm perfectly happy with it.

This is the best streaming box experience I've had so far. Far superior to Google Streamer 4k. The interface takes some getting used to for an Android user, but its EXTREMELY fast and responsive! You can get any streaming service, voice assistant is great, and the remote is super premium. It has frame rate match and upscaling that is far superior to any other streaming box.

I have the 2nd Generation Apple TV, which supports 4K. But I bought this one as it has a better processor and a great redesigned remote. It has better performance and picture quality. Apple Arcade games also perform well. I opted for the Ethernet model as my Gigabit wired network delivers fast data for TV apps and games.

The Apple TV 4K is a sleek and powerful streaming device that delivers excellent performance, especially for those deeply invested in the Apple ecosystem. It supports 4K HDR content with Dolby Vision and Atmos, offering stunning picture and immersive sound quality. The user interface is smooth and intuitive, and integration with Siri allows for convenient voice control.

Cut the cord - cost saving in the first month alone more than paid for this device.
Connected to a dumb flat panel and a surround receiver. Hardwired Ethernet.
Like any Apple device, it will talk to your other Apple devices for quick and easy setup.
Interface works more or less just like your iphone/ipad; although the remote has a ton of functions built-in compared to the number of buttons on the remote; it does have a learning curve. if your phone is in range, it to can/will automatically function as a remote, withhout having to open an app to do so.
Overall, does exactly what I expected/wanted it to do

Bought this for our garage gym T.V. Visio. I was using Roku prior. Very impressed with the picture and performance. We use Apple fit with it and watch movies. Connects easily to our apple watches or phones for workout tracking. Easy to set up and use.

Bought my first Apple TV 4k to replace a Roku Ultra. My primary use for it is the Spectrum app to watch TV which both do well. Roku is fine, but there is a flaw that prevents it from working properly with my particular Denon AVR. Apple TV works perfectly and adds the benefit of accessing my iCloud to listen to my music, watch my videos, and access my photos. A real benefit.
