You can also use it if you don’t have an iPhone. If you are using Samsung OLEDs, it works as a great upscaler for Dolby vision content.

Also it is completely TV HDR Agnostic, it converts Dolby HDR to HDR10+ for my Samsung TV. Also the only other streaming device with a gigabit ethernet port apart from the Nvidia Sheild. I switched from the Sheild to Apple TV and definitely wont be going back

I've used Roku, Fire TV and Android TV but while none of them are perfect this is the best of them especially if you're an iPhone user.... But even if you're not it's still a very solid choice with all the features you'd need or want in a streaming device.
