It's an expensive. Great quality, user friendly and I am intrigued by all the features it has like linking to TV and even FaceTime. Love this and I want one for every room.

I had to purchase a new appletv after my 1st gen one was fried from a lightning strike. I didn't really need all the extra GBs and would preger the 64GB option but I wanted th ethernet option. It's a bummer they got rid of the ethernet ports on the options with less file size... Other than that it works great. The picture appears even be a little clearer with this newer 3rd gen option.

Very happy with the new Apple TV - we've had one for years and purchased this to go with a new TV we added to our home. Worth the cost for the simplicity of use!

I didn’t know if I would keep this, why would you pay $150 when there are other ones for $50, and my smart tv already has all the streaming apps? I did end up returning the WiFi version I got, so I could get the Ethernet model for another $30 because I liked it so much. Other sticks can feel laggy, have bad remotes, and don’t have many of the features this has. The Apple TV glides, all your apps work flawlessly with great controls, and standardized subtitles. Siri is surprisingly responsive, often more so than on your iPhone, and it fits right into the Apple ecosystem, allowing you to play from your AirPods with one button, use the remote control app on your iPhone, airplay content. It also looks great, supporting dolby vision, and options to match content frame rate and dynamic range. If you’re willing to spend the extra money it’s completely worth it.

I went from a Roku Ultra to Apple TV and I won’t ve going back. The software is a lot more stable on the Apple TV, I don’t have to reboot it every couple of days. There are also no annoying ads on the homescreen, it’s easier to navigate too. Well worth the premium over the Roku Ultra.

I'm an Android guy, but I love the Apple TV. Unfortunately it seems that all of my Android based media players are really underpowered after about 18 to 24 months of use. This media player although does not really mesh will with Android, is spectacular when it comes to streaming media. Im tired of buying new hardware to keep up with the software months later. The only exception to this would be my Nvidia Shield, Ive had my Shield for 3 years and it keeps going flawlessly.

I’ve used many different brands of streaming devices. Hands down the Apple TV has worked best for me. And if you have an iPhone or Beats headphones. It’s extremely convenient to used a keyboard from the phone to enter information on the Apple TV. And the Beats headphones effortlessly switch from iPhone to Appple Tv devices.

Better sound quality than Roku ultra while streaming videos. It resolved the Popping sound from speakers issue I was having with Roku with Sony str-az5000es
