Had an older version so had an idea what I was getting, but the updates were better than expected. Best option in the market especially if you have an iPhone.

I mean Apple…..solid as usual, seamless, easy, and just works.

I've used a firestick for years and years -- I used to think Apple TV was a dumb product for people who were obsessed with Apple and had more money than sense. I was totally wrong -- this definitely has a premium price over a firestick or roku, but I haven't had a single moment of lag when clicking through the OS. Everything just looks better on this as well, and it works well with my LG OLED G3 TV. The remote works fine, I don't know if I love the touch feature (where dragging your thumb kind of works like a mouse), but you can disable that. It's got apps for all the services I use, and again, everything looks *great*. Dolby Vision, HDR, plus Atmos for sound. It's just a quality item, and super small. I wall-mounted mine so I don't even see it behind the TV.

I have had the last 4 Apple TV versions. This new one, while I modest update, in practice has been huge. The new remote is so much more convenient. The tv box works quicker, and picture quality is top notch. The newer lower price, with additional storage, and future threat support is a great bonus.

Faster than the previous model I had, worked flawlessly out of the box. I absolutely love the new remote ! It is so much better than the old one with the touch pad. I love the weight of it as well. Glad I went with the upgrade

Most modern Smart T.V.s have gotten so cluttered with ads, suggestions, etc., making navigation a eye fatiguing mess. Apple Tv gets rid of all the clutter and makes your t.v. a joy to use. The legendary Apple horsepower and familiar ios interface make it a joy to use. This is the one that will make you love your favorite t.v. again.

I recently bought a TCL QM851G TV, and while I'm very happy w/ the TV, it's video processing isn't always the best, at least w/ some apps. So, I hooked up my aging Nvidia Shield Pro from 2019, and it was inconsistent too. It seems that Nvidia isn't in any rush to release a new one, so I did some research & found the closest thing I was going to be the latest gen Apple TV 4K, so I pulled the trigger & bought the 128GB version w/ gigabit ethernet port (I think gigabit ethernet is essential!). It's not perfect, but I'm mostly very pleased w/ it. It's far more modern & powerful than my old Shield, & it's video processing is 2nd to none. Set it to 4K SDR, but turn on match content dynamic range & frame rate. That's entirely resolved the gripes I have w/ TV's built in video processing. I have a MacBook but I'm not really into Apple's ecosystem, but I've to say - Apple TV's OS is great too. Robust, every app out there is available, and NO ADS (unlike Google/Android TV & others). Shoot, F1TV is only available in 4K HDR10 w/ Apple only, so for me (an F1 nerd), that's a big reason to buy the Apple TV 4K right there. My TV (strangely) has amazing WiFi but only a 100mb ethernet port, so the Apple TV fixed that other issue for me as I got the Apple TV 4K w/ ethernet. I would give it a 5 star review, but there are 2 things that I think are issues. #1- The remote is nice, but really glitchy. I love that it charges w/ USB-C, but It's touchpad is inconsistent, & even the regular buttons can be too (possibly because it's Bluetooth & there could be Bluetooth/WiFi interference I can't eliminate). The remote isn't backit either. I've restored to controlling the Apple TV using my TV's remote. #2-The Apple TV doesn't do audio pass-through, so audio often doesn't sound as good as it does when using my TV's built-in OS (this feature may come in an Apple TV OS update, but that's a big maybe, you buy something for what it does now...not *possibly* in the future). There are additional pros though - Apple (or BestBuy?) gave me several month free trials to a few of Apple's subscription ervices like Apple TV+ & Apple Music.

 tv is very fast and snappy. All the apps i use are available on the app store. Picture quality is amazing, plus having an iphone makes it easier to navigate with the remote app if im too lasy to get up snd pick up the remote. Overall enjoy my ourchase

3rd generation's improved, easier to use remote and performance is amazing. I replaced a competitors all in one (streaming/speaker), issues with video streaming. The Apple TV performance handing video on demand, and other video streaming devices is outstanding.

switching to Apple TV helps bypass a lot of the lag and ads from your default tv’s UI. It’s really smooth and responsive. making waiting to and from apps a lot easier

I have several Roku, Amazon Fire, and Chromecast streaming devices, but I've replaced almost everything with Apple TV 4K devices. They're fast, easy to use, and work great with our iPhones (of course).

The 3rd generation 4K apple TV is a game changer for picture and sound quality. Having the ability to stream audio from Apple Music in lossless format is a noticeable upgrade in sound quality. 4K picture quality is stunning. I highly recommend this product.

Apple tv smokes the roku and the chrome cast. Very speedy too. Set up was not hard as well. Love the interface with the apple products and the fitness. Overall satisfying product to own.
