Although every TV in our house is a "Smart" TV, having the Apple TV provides so many more entertainment and technical options that each of the TVs have Apple TVs connected to them. From the custom screen savers to the more technical audio and video capabilities, the Apple TV simply offers its users the state of the art in audio visual experiences available today.

By far the best streaming box on the market. It's snappy, offers every app you need, integrates seamlessly with iPhone, iPad, and Mac, and the navigation with the remote or your phone is second to none. Well worth the premium compared to Roku or Google if you consume media through streaming or TV often.

Have 2 of these newest versions and 1 older version. For ease of connectivity out of the box it’s simply the best. Picture quality with newest 4K ability is a must for more readily available content.

When I had the generation before I never used it with my new Sony tv because of Dolby vision. Now that I upgraded to this model I only use my Apple TV cause the operating system is super fast and the picture now show Dolby vision bright beautifully! Wednesday on Netflix is an example. It’s not a bright movie but the film is so clear! Also make sure you use the new 4k 120hz hdmi wire 2.1 Also if you use a reciever then that your tv and the wire you buy for your apple tv all have to be hdmi 2.1 (8k-60hz/4k-120hz) this goes for the newest game systems and streamers also not necessarily Apple TV. I think Apple TV still only does 4k-60hz but it still looks amazing!

Able to receive channels, streaming and other services. I like the weight and slightly larger size of the remote, as compared to previous model. Especially like the mute button; we have an older model that does not have it.

I was so on the fence about the apple TV before I picked up my first 4k last year. They are by far the best way to use your favorite streaming services, just keep in mind you do need your own HDMI cable!

My Roku Ultra was giving me problems that multiple reboots would not solve. I saw a chance to get this at a deep discount and have no regrets. Apple is easier to use and faster too.

Let's just say that if you're struggling to deal with PGS subtitles and general playability of files and transcodes in Plex, this is by far the most compatible device. Better than the Roku Ultra, the Firestick 4k, etc. It even handled weird H265 HDR color palettes that my Windows PC and android devices couldn't handle. Already bought another for the bedroom TV and will be updating the guest room as well. Unless you have a compelling reason to use this for a ton of apps or save media on it directly for some reason i can't imagine, or lastly like me you wanted ethernet for your primary home theater setup, the 64 GB WiFi only version is more than enough and works great in my bedroom.
