If you live in the apple ecosystem, this is a no brainer. You can watch all your favorite shows in dolby vision with dolby atmos. Excellent decoding and quality. Apple music with loseless sound is incredible. Finally, you can workout using your apple watch with Apple Fitness+. Must have for every tv in the house.

I needed to upgrade my Apple TV and decided to go with the Ethernet version instead of WiFi. I wanted to make sure it was plugged in at all times for the internet. It fixed my issue with the older version that kept dropping my thread network. I haven’t had any issues with the new one. I love it.

Very fast and responsive. I love the Apple integration especially how well this work with Apple fitness, this was the main reason I purchased this. There are many features for example the enhance dialogue that I enjoy and no ads makes this a huge plus. I have this plugged into Ethernet and wow, that’s all I have to say.

I have had several Apple TVs, and I wanted to replace my oldest one. I set this one up with my living room 4K OLED TV, and moved its 4K generation 2 Apple TV to my guest bedroom, replacing a 4K generation 1 Apple TV. As you can easily discern, I like Apple TV and am willing to pay for it.
However, I did not appreciate having to buy a 128GB Apple TV just to get an Ethernet connection. I have my living room Apple TV hooked up to Ethernet for optimum performance. Perhaps this is overkill, but I would hate to not use the connection since the line is already there.
I do not play games with my Apple TV, and therefore I do not need 128GB.

Incredible. We have Rokus, and we use the Apple TV app in our LG TV and the Rokus. But the Apple TV hardware is incredible. Like all Apple hardware, the interface is intuitive. It has some amazing features such as being able to use the mic from your iPhone to calibrate the sound. It just works.

Great streaming device! Very friendly user interface. It fits perfect in my setups(multiple). If you're already in the Apple ecosystem it fits seamlessly.

There are other Apple products in the home, which made this super simple to set up. Pulling passwords and subscriptions without having to go look up each one was really nice. I was disappointed that to get the ethernet hardwire connection option, I had to go to the 128 GB vs the 64 GB 3rd generation model. But I was able to remove a cable box and it will pay for itself in 15 months.

Great product and easy setup. No complaints. Highly recommend. It works as a smart home hub which is why I bought it. Seamless setup with all smart home accessories,

Best in class TV hub! I have used the competitions products, and none have an interface that is nearly as responsive/ clean and not to mention as beautiful as apples TV’s. This has as much to do with the quality (also beauty) of the remote as it does the hub itself. Additionally, I recommend Apple TV be paired with 2 HomePod speakers (assuming a full home entertainment surround sound system is impractical), as this serves as the most convenient yet powerful 2 speaker “sound bar” type of setup, on the market (given the price point). Some other noteworthy features include integration into Apple ID accounts and Apple ecosystem, in general. The most obvious feature available to those integrated into the Apple ecosystem, is the remote function (and particularly its’ search box typing feature) available to users with an iPhone. Bonus ecosystem features include: integration of “family” users in the form of separate account logins to the TV; previous purchase Apps via App Store, which provide compatibility with Apple TV operating system; and even more features that I am forgetting or perhaps others of which I am not aware.

I’ve had one apple tv box for years, but always used it as the extra device. I tried the chromecast with YouTube tv (4 sets) as my main platform for the past 12+ months. Finally got frustrated with the remotes freezing and switched everything over to Apple. 1) yes this is about $100 more per screen than my existing and already purchased CCWGTV dongles 2) yes it was worth it. The better user interface and remotes are an upgrade that you will interact with every day (assuming you waych some tv every day). I especially appreciate the option to have all your apple tv boxes synchronized, so the layout and settings are the same across all, even when you make later changes. If you have an iPhone, the remote option on your phone is a great way to quickly input passwords and other text. If you use Apple Home, the feature is a little hidden but once found it’s a very nice way to view security cameras. (Hold down the home button on the remote and then select tge home icon at the bottom pf the menu).

Apple TV 4K is awesome. The newly designed Siri remote is much better than the previous version that was mostly glass and cracked. This is dynamite. Worth it for the extra $20 to get the extra storage and ethernet port.

I bought this device to replace one of my many roku’s and I love it. Did not realize before buying that this device makes watching your iPhone pics and videos seamless to play on your tv and since this is not casting you have much more control of your cloud pics and videos without the normal connectivity casting issues.
