Higher quality picture & sound, love access to the additional streaming content & to rest of my Apple content. Went ahead and bought the full family subscription which includes TV, music, gaming, fitness & more than enough cloud storage. Bargain for $20 a month.

Amazing picture quality and extremely user friendly!!

It is a shame the remote is so distracting due to being so slippery and tiny...as for the function of the unit itself...fast with a high quality picture.

When the 4th gen apple tv came out, I was very disappointed it did not have 4k capability. One year later, finally the 4k version came along. The amount of 4k content is still a bit light right now, but there is some, and it is good. Hopefully Apple weight on this sector will encourage more 4k adoption.

This was easy to setup and it gives me what I was looking for. Picture on the TV is great. Remote could be easier to use and it maybe just me as the operator.

I don't have a 4K home theater setup yet, so I'm only marginally benefitting from the upgrade from the Apple TV 4th Gen. But I have noticed a lot more 5.1 Multi Channel Stereo coming into my receiver on programs that I know only had 2 channel audio in the 4th gen now that I have this model. Makes it worth the upgrade for me.

Yest another set top box because my allegedly “smart” Samsung tv will not allow the Apple app to download. I assume it’s a deluded attempt to eradicate the competition. The box is easy to install, just make sure you order the not included wire connection. The resulting Apple TV reception is excellent and everyone lived happily ever after. My only peeve is the utterly tiny remote. Unfortunately my hands are somewhat larger than Barbie’s, so that will take getting used to.

Perfect little machine to add to your home, especially if you're already invested into the Apple ecosystem. Very intuitive and easy to use. Countless number of apps and games. You can very easily project your iPhone or MacBook screen to your tv with this device. Voice control is a nice touch as well. Hardly takes up any space at all.

Pair this with some good streaming services and you're set. Remote can break from dropping it if you have hard floors though. Get the remote cover from Insignia, it's saved me a ton of times after I bought my 3rd. I have four AppleTV's throughout my house, and have owned probably another 10 of previous models.

This device is the perfect complement to my new 4K TV. It continues all of the great features of previous Apple TV models and adds 4K HDR capabilities.

Fantastic. If willing to spend the extra and already an apple user it is worth it. Massive upgrade from Roku and Firesticks, which while were very effective, were not as seamless as this. Never freezes up and only required to reboot once in the first 6 months. Worth it for existing apple users.

I had Apple TV 3 and just needed the upgrade with the new features this model provides. It is so much easier to use and has more beneficial tweaks here and there I never thought they would add. Definitely recommend for anyone who loves having everything ready whenever you need it. I got the lower memory model since I just save all my music and stream movies/shows/videos.

The Apple TV 4th generation 32 gb would often make random noises or a form of feedback. The new recently released 4K HDR 32 GB Model works great in tandem with my new LG OLED 55 inch C8 TV model. Match made in Heaven! Absolutely LOVE it & I am so glad Apple TV is staying in-cycle alone with TV Companies release of their new tech TV updates and launches.

4k Is Amazing. Features and ease of use makes this the best Apple TV yet!

I wanted to be able to mirror my computer screen to the tv without the cords and expense of a LCD projector. The Apple TV does that and so much more!

Just recently Roku informed us that our 10-years old Roku device was no longer supported. So, we wanted to change to an AppleTV intruder to allow mirroring. It was relatively easy to install. After briefly looking at the Apple programming we decided it is of no interest to us. Mirroring works OK with our iPads but not so with our new iPhone 11s. Is that the iPhone 11 transmitter or the Apple TV receiver or interference. After three hours on the phone with Apple support this issue was not resolved. So, we bought it for mirroring mostly and it works only so-so on that feature.
