Bought an open box one. Because these are ridiculously hard to get now. They are amazing. I wish I had bought one years ago. My chrome cast is nice and it was cheap but doesn’t compare at all. Just sucks Apple charges an arm and two legs for anything.

I now have two of these. Apple really knows that they’re doing. Very intuitive interface and easy to navigate. The only annoyance is that Apple will not let you make purchases from third party apps (I.E. Vudu), so you have to purchase them from another device before you can watch them on the Apple TV.

I like the new Apple TV don't get me wrong. I don't stream content so that part of the device is a waste for me, what I was looking for was a connection to my ITunes library which Apple cut off for First Gen Apple TV's in the latest version of ITunes. Like my Macs but Apple sucks sometimes.

I had a much older Apple TV but since I have Disney+, the old Apple TV didn't support the Disney+ app or other apps. I bought this so the whole family can watch Disney+ shows in the living room and for a future 4k UHD TV. Installation was very easy and user interface great. No issues or problems whatsoever.

Love watching my 4K movies on this. Super fast and good look.

I picked this up primarily to AirPlay from my Macbook Air to my bigscreen TV. Setup was a breeze, and it does exactly what it is supposed to. I already had a Roku, but it doesn't AirPlay. The combination of the two make it simple to cut the cord. Highly recommended. Oh, and drive up pickup was fantastic.

It's improved a lot from last generation of apple TV. We've been using last generation for more than 3 years since it came out, but the moment we installed the latest one and turned on the TV, we're surprised by the HDR effect. you'll love it as long as you TV has HDR or 4k at least. thanks.

Easy to set up, great quality, enjoying the shows!

I love, love, love this little streaming device. I put one in every room of the house. I can see what the kids are watching, turn on/off the tv's in other rooms by using my phone as a a remote. I convinced my Mother and Father-in-law to get them to replace the cable boxes in their homes.

The Apple TV 4k works just as well as it’s previous version. My only complaint is that YouTube doesn’t work in 4k currently and that it doesn’t support hdmi 2.1. Make sure you are using an hdmi 2.0 cable to get the full 60fps.

I like to be able to entertain family and friends and the apple tv helped me a lot the game and much more very good decision in the purchase.

There is really no beating the Apple TV when it comes to streaming devices. Sure, it's a bit pricier, but the ease of use and UI is far superior to anything else I've tried on the market. I haven't been able to take full advantage of the 4K HDR features yet, but I should be soon once I upgrade my TV.

This is an outstanding product. So many different programs and movies that are not found on regular cable services. I would recommend this product to anyone thinking of purchasing it. Lastly, I would suggest that the purchaser have a 4K television readily available to take advantage of the 4K option.

Upgraded from the second generation. Man, what a difference. Love the 4K experience as well as the Apple Music app capability. I use it as my HomeKit base now before I had to use my iPad. Love the remote with volume control to my receiver and tv. Going to buy a second one for my 1080p tv which is compatable until I upgrade to another 4K tv in the bedroom.

I have had all of the Apple TV's. This one is the best! When the Best Buy associate told me that I would need a top end HDMI cable, I thought, sure just trying to sell cables! He was correct!!! Not only is this the first time I have actually been able to see 4K programming on my 4K TV but the sound was awesome as well. You'll love it!

Love this for the 4k and the awesome user interface.

If you are ingrained in the apple ecosystem it is a great product. It works well and it simple to use. It acts as a homehub if you utilize homekit. The iphone can be used as the remote, which is very useful when you have to type something in. Also, the siri remote works great for entry as well.

Switching over from the latest 1080p Apple TV I didn't know how much of a difference I would get. I knew 4k was better, but didn't realize it was this much better. I highly recommend upgrading. It is a very noticeable difference. Another great thing to know is that Apple converts your "capable" existing purchased movies to 4k for free.

I've had the old apple TV model for a couple years now and finally decided to upgrade it to match my new 4K TV and I could see the picture quality difference instantly! If you are looking into upgrading to the new model or wonder if you'll be able to difference, take it from me you can and it's worth it!
