Great device that has a very small footprint but delivers huge in terms of giving you access to all your streaming entertainment in one spot! The added bonus of delivering 4K quality is mind blowing! Definitely worth every penny!

Glad apple released this 4k version of the Apple TV but it feels over due. I have over 800 movies in my library and am very grateful that apple is doing free upgrades to 4k content. The problem I have, and it is a very silly one.....is that 4k content on my 55" display sitting 12 ft away, looks no better than 1080p content I enjoyed previously. If I sit up close to the display, I then notice the difference. But then I also notice the imperfections around moving objects as well. Another words....if you have a TV that is over 55" and you sit 12 ft or more away from the TV, and you also have lots of apple iTunes movies already purchased, then this is the upgrade for you. If you have a 55" tv or smaller and already have the 1080p version, just stick with the 1080p version. You won't benefit enough to feel good about this purchase.

I was hesitant to buy this at first but having several other apple devices it made sense. I am so glad I got this. If you have other Apple devices it is a must have. Just be careful with the remote. Hopefully the next version is better that comes out.

Have owned 3 other Apple TV’s over the years. This one is much smoother and faster than even the previous Hd. We use these as our primary streaming device and have zero complaints. Honestly everyone who has an iPhone should own one.

I got exactly what I was looking for to make my Sony q hdr iPhone, iPad, and Mac compatible. Streaming heavin.

All my Apple products create a good customer experience. They work, have great technology that is easy to use.

I absolutely love the Apple TV I purchase at Best Buy. I was able to tell the door attendant what I was there for and he contacted his associate inside the store who was waiting for me with my item. I was able to check out quickly and be back in my car within 20 minutes. The Apple TV was easy to install and get up and running. I was able to quickly find the series I was looking for and even quickly figured out how to place subtitles. I find the Apple TV easy to maneuver and easy to return to cable tv when done watching. The entire process of buying, setting up and watching was very quick and easy to operate. If you want your item immediately I would highly recommend going to Best Buy, telling them what you want, buying it and leaving the store all very quickly and efficiently. Thank you Best Buy......

I have 3 of these boxes. Apple maintains theses devices with the most current version of TVOS. They are very stable and so easy to use. I have Roku, Nvidia Shield and Fire TV but the Apple TV is my goto player for steaming almost anything. Netflix HDR with Dolby Atmos really sands out

I really like the Apple TV, However I did not recommend buying this one because there is an upgraded version. I have several Apple TV’s and have moved on to apple’s latest version and love it

We love the convenience of our AppleTV. It’s easy to use, though it takes a little practice at first, and is so much better with more to offer than cable when it comes to looking for good movies or entertainment. We reduced our cable bill by half!

I have an older ROKU and a more Recent FireStick. The Apple TV is a great device in comparison. The other streaming devices I have work but the UI is only OK and FF or Rewind is clunky on them. They tend to have sporadic buffering issues as well.

I bought this specifically so I could do workouts at home with Apple fitness. Works great and I’m very pleased with my purchase. The trackpad on the remote takes some getting used to. Also, Connects perfectly to my AirPod pros.

So easy to set up. I asked for this for Christmas. I wanted the Apple TV to be able to do Apple fitness + on my TV. I had a 3 year old LG 70 inch moving to my new exercise room. Adding the Apple TV makes this the perfect exercise room.

I only use this to mirror my phone, the interface is kind of confuse, the remote control some times is hard to control it, I prefer 4 keys with arrows than this touch remote that fails a lot it's very no precisely, a 4K fire stick can do the same at 1/4 of the price. Mirroring my phone works like a charm The relation price benefit doesn't match

I have number of streaming devcies, such as the fire stick and Roku. Which are good devices, but found myself restarting them daily. I been having the Apple TV for 2 months and haven’t need to reset it once. Runs smoothly and even games work really good. Definitely recommend this.

I had a first generation that was working great but some apps can’t be used on it so I stepped up to the 4k. I can’t believe the picture quality change!! This is fantastic and worth the upgrade for sure!

Bottom line: you are going to pay more for the Apple TV 4K than any other streaming device but here are the benefits: -iPhone/iPad Bluetooth pairing for a second remote which is helpful for typing and searching -Full access to your iTunes movie library so you can watch your movies in 4K HDR and HD on you television -Huge Selection of streaming apps that includes all the majors including Vudu and Prime -Best user experience for searching and playback -Supports Dolby Vision and HDR10 and includes auto-switching in the settings -Highest standard of software stability, durability, and upgrade potential via firmware. For the long term this is the best streaming device to pair with your 4K TV and as of this writing the 32gb model is $30 off so go get one (a 64gb model is available but only if you plan to download and play lots of games. For streaming only the 32gb model is more than sufficient)

The size is larger than Gen 1 but the 4K output is amazing and its more user friendly than gen 1

This is the first gen purchased on the Apple TV. Instructions for installation was easy to follow. I’ve always been an Apple product user. I needed a product to be able to mirror from my phone and stream videos. The product did not disappoint and exceeded my expectations.

Apple TV seamlessly integrates with all my other Apple devices and iMacs. Finally they offer Amazon Prime.
