I mainly purchased this product to use the Airplay feature from my phone and in that aspect it works really well. Just keep in mind not all streaming apps will give you the option. I've had issues with the remote where it "disconnects" and it takes some work getting it to work again. Also, since the remote has a touch pad area you have to learn to pick it up a certain way otherwise you will inadvertently run a finger over the touch pad area and cause a menu to pop up while you're watching something. I bought a silicon case as the remote is not grippy for me but the case was pushing down on the touch pad button and so I had to cut the case with scissors to make sure none of the button was being covered and the button pressed. Overall it's been ok for me. Again, I got it specifically for Airplay and that seems to work well for what I needed it for. If you don't have Apple devices or don't have a real need to pair with Apple devices, I recommend you try a Roku. The interface is simple and you will never inadvertently make a menu or some info screen pop up while grabbing the remote.

The Apple 4K streamer is great! It has more than doubled our screen quality and it is also capable of streaming some of the larger TV providers that we wanted to use, for example Sling TV. Upgrading from the Apple 3 to the 4K has been awesome!

I've used Apple TVs for many years. The 4k version is excellent and works well with my 4k TV. Setup was simple. I've used the Roku version of this as well, and it was a lot clunkier. The only reason I had the Roku was for Amazon Prime, and it's now on Apple TV.

You get what you pay for. I’ve got two of these in my house now. One in my living room on my 40 inch 4K and one in the basement on my 65 inch 4K. Exceptional quality, especially when you enable Dolby vision. Highly recommend!

4K picture and voice search make this the best Netflix streaming device especially if you already have an iPhone or iPad. Now that the Spectrum app is available on App Store you can replace your cable boxes with one streaming device that does it all.

Does a lot of things and is helpful to us for transferring things from phone to tv screen

Bought this to compliment my new 4k tv but mainly use channels app for live tv with hdhomerun and Plex for saved movies and tv shows along with network apps. If the Hdhomerun Premium streaming tv improves it will be the perfect cable-cutting solution

I have 2 4K Apple TVs and 2 1080p Apple TVs and I love them all! We do a lot of Netflix and Have a family account where we share a lot of iTunes movies. Also, we don’t have cable but use Directv Now so these Apple TVs get a lot of use and they work great!

Does everything I thought it would do and more. Love all the new apps with this version.

Works well with my Samsung Series 8 TV in HD. Haven’t yet tested driving 4K content yet.

I love everything about the Apple TV EXCEPT the remote. The track pad is crap. Too sensitive and when you’re moving the remote from one place or another it’s so sensitive that sometimes I inadvertently turn on my device. I miss the old remote.

I’ve had all the streaming devices on the market & none of them compare to the Apple TV. The features are awesome & extremely easy to navigate. Not to mention that it links with your iPhone & excellent multi screen options.

Simple setup, much faster than my older AppleTV. 4k hdr ready and the footprint is tiny.

Perfect addition. I wasn't sure if I would be entirely happy with this, but the easy sign in to all the apps & extensions from my subscriptions, is so awesome... saves time & keeps the mind at ease. Relax for sure...

I might be biased but I prefer my Apple TV to the built-in Roku on my TV. Yes, the Apple TV has its flaws but overall I prefer the ease of use of it. I prefer how easily it pairs with all my other Apple devices. And for that, it’s my go to streamer

The upgrades are great. It is nice to finally be able to buy and rent movies in 4K HDR.

I love Apple TV. It’s the same eco-system with my other apple products. You can easily casting pictures and videos from your iPhone and iMac. But there are a few problems 1). The remote app on iPhone doesn’t work reliably. Sometimes very frustrating even doing simple things. 2). The remote’s surface is glass, and it’s shatter already for me. I don’t even remember I drop it. It’s sad. I cannot give it to 5 stars.
