This is a good unit, very responsive and with great picture through Dolby Vision. But, it required a very specific (and rather pricey) Belkin 48gb HDMI cable to operate properly. We had a lot of remote lag issues before upgrading the HDMI Cable. For the price paid, if a cable is necessary to ensure proper function, it should come with the unit.

I bought the newer model and am so glad I did. The remote is a great improvement and I like the ease with which you can add more choices to the home screen. I bought 2 to replace my old Apple TVs.

If you like being able to stream programs or want to check out new shows the Apple TV is awesome. If your a iPhone user this is a no brainer. You can see your cloud pics control the ATV from your phone!!!!

Were it not for the fact that it does not provide bitstreaming sound capabilites (even though the hardware completely supports it), this streaming device from Apple would be pretty much perfect for current content (4K, HDR10, Dolby Vision). Worth it if you like and can stream HDR content. I took one star off for the non-bitstreaming. If Apple adds it in the future through an update it’ll earn that star.

This is my second Apple TV. Great streaming device, especially if you're already in the Apply eco-system and want to cast from your other Apple devices.

Upgraded my tv to 4K so it made sense to upgrade my Apple TV as well. The latest version is much faster and moves with more fluidity than ever! Plays well with all of our Apple devices and the entire family loves it !

Apple is so easy to use and keeps everything so organized.

This is my second apple tv 4k, and I love it. Support for 4K HDR and Dolby Vision is why I went with it. The free Apple TV+ was a great perk too. This is the perfect match for my oled.

Upgraded from 4th to 5th Gen, I wanted Gigabit Ethernet, to maximise my Giga Service, Speedtest shows 954Meg.. check. I wanted a quicker smoother loading of Guides etc and the new processor rocks... check. I wanted 4K and now I have silky super detailed, beautiful images.. check. I wanted an AppleTV for my bedroom, my 4th gen now fills that slot.check. Whats left? Time to go to Best Buy and upgrade my 2014 4K TV to OLED that supports HDR.. then life will be complete.. at least for now. An awesome device!

Have always used apple products but was hesitant in getting this- love the way we can all use from our devices - the ease of putting our apps in one spot

Like any other Apple product Apple TV 4K is an excellent product. The 4K HDR quality is outstanding, the volume control and ability to control all of its features your voice via Siri is a very nice touch.

If you enjoy Apple devices this is one you should purchase

This is my second Apple TV purchase. It’s so easy to setup and makes it even easier that it’s connected to all your apple devices/account.

The way the Apple ecosystem works together is amazing. Love how smoothly the apple tv works. My TV was considered a “smart” TV, but was very slow and crashed all the time when watching netflix. This was a quick fix

Great device for streaming services. Love that I can also connect with my iPhone. And that I can know get Amazon Prime through the AppleTV. It integrates into my home automation system (Control4) seamlessly.

I have a Macbook and An iPhone and love the convenience of screen mirroring, and using the keyboard on my phone to search on tv, stream movies from my laptop, etc. Love my Apple TV :)
