Excellent addition to your home theater especially if you do not already own a smart tv with the built in streaming services. If you are part of the Apple eco system this is a good buy. Using Apple Airplay from your phone to the Apple TV is very easy and convenient for sharing content with others.

Good aside from the remote

Worth it

I gotta admit it blows it out the water. The VLC remote players did it for me. The ability to watch movies and shows loaded up is amazing. The platform cross sync with all my Apple devices is good as well.

If it was not for the 4k option, I woul;d rather go back to my old Apple TV. I still have it for my upstairs tv and I love the flow better.

Took me a bit but love it

Once I figured out the click wasn't one of the buttons, set up went a lot faster. I like that I don't have to feed the remote batteries. I'm still getting used to the transitions and settings but it's pretty intuitive and I can use my phone which makes it all easier. Going through a few youtube videos was helpful.
