Fast intuitive and better than Android TV
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Android TV is good (owner of and NVIDIA Shield and Nexus Player) but the Apple TV is better. If you have a cable subscription (or borrow one) you don't have to log into each and every single app (like in Android TV). The Apple TV does this for you automatically. Also, the 4K image pumped out into my 75 inch Sony 4K TV is way better, cleaner, smoother and crisper than the one displayed from the apps within the Android TV. Highly recommended.

Why is Apple always behind?

Recently though I feel that they are behind technologically. 4k video has been on the market for years, every competitor was 4k capable. It's difficult to understand why they put out a 1080p version only a year ago, and this year upgraded to 4k.

Upgraded to 4K, this is worth it!

Almost what I hoped

After losing the Prime tv app on my current tv I needed to get something to get the app back. I almost bought a new tv rather than this console just because most of the brands are including airplay 2 and Apple TV anyway on the new models. I decided to go with the Apple TV and have mixed feelings. It works for all the apps I wanted, but AirPlay 2 is spotty at best. From my phone I have fought it every time I try to play a video. My iPad works marginally better but still not as seamless as they advertise. I’m keeping it and hopefully there are just bugs that will be fixed in a later update but AirPlay 2 is kinda a bust for me. Oh well, I got the other apps back
