Great way to add intenet to older TV
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Initially I wanted to take this unit back to Best Buy because it wouldn't hook up with my wireless router, Spent a couple of hours on the phone with Apple Tech Support, still could not get it to interface with the router. Before returning it to Best Buy, I decided to try something off the wall. I unplugged my main DirecTV receiver. After I did that, I again went through the steps with the Apple TV unit and it connected. Apparently the wireless signal put out from the DirecTV receiver interfered with the Apple TV while it was searching for my wireless router. Now everything works great, signal quality is fantastic.

Easy setup. More user friendly than Gen 2
