I know it’s more expensive than the other brands, but it “just works” and is very intuitive. I also do a lot of watching with headphones on while my wife sleeps so the Bluetooth integration and ease of connecting is a big plus.

Best Apple TV Option

Syncs with the TV so I can turn the TV on/off and control the volume. Paid the extra $30 in case I upgrade the TV. Best choice of the three Apple TV in my opinion. Plus it came with one year of Apple TV+.

Love the interface, hate the remote

Love the size and how light the remote is and that it is rechargeable. HATE the glide pad. I have a hell of a time being able to reliably Jump forward or backward while watching. I have 3 of these and it is the same on all three. Wish it had buttons instead of the touch pad/glide pad.

Great for iPhoners

I eventually gave in to my children explaining all the pros since we a lot of Apple products. I have to say that I love the seemless interaction between my phone/MacBook and h. TV. Also the 4K display is beautiful on my LG TV.

Issues
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sometimes the Apple TV is not recognized by my tv. The light is on but no one is home. I have tried unplugging it, resetting internet, unplugging HDMi. Not sure which solution works but it takes a while to get it to come back on. This is a known issue, I wish they would roll out an update for it. It is very frustrating, especially as I have not had the device very long. I will say that I liked the layout of some of the apps on the older gen apple tvs; especially Hulu, HBO and Showtime. Takes a little getting used to and not as user friendly inside those apps anymore.
